I was invested in sng a few years back and likewise the CEO was yes you guessed it a 'Scientist' - the fallout of the sp was drastic due the CEO managing the business end wrong. You're still missing the point. They were BOUGHT as the mm's have a buyer to fill them. If I place an order to sell 23k worth now it will probably be rejected as they don't need them currently. Simple

So I'll ask you again. Who bought the shares? Where did the money come from? I'll tell you the mm's bought them and flipped them for the spread. There is no other way.

Let's say the mm's bought them then, so now what? Have they raised the price to make a profit ? No - has the sp fallen because of the sell? No - they had a buyer for them simples.

Mm's will not buy shares without a buyer in place especially illiquid shares like gst. They're in the business of making money via the spread and not left holding the baby so to speak. Common knowledge!

Jam, listen to yourself you make no sense - if there's no buyers then nobody can sell anything. Did you know that? That's how a market is created buyeres and sellers - if one of them isn't around you have no market.
