The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Hi all,
I bought this stock in 2016 and got screwed over by the parsons crew. I haven't been active since then. Just wondering if anyone can give me a very short TLDR of sound's prospects? Is anything going to happen.. ever? :D
Thanks!
Thanks, that's really strange.
Apple Stocks says Brent is in the 68s and so does Nasdaq. Is BZ=F different from others?
Sorry to have to ask this, but I can't find a reliable source for the price of Brent Crude.
All the different websites and apps have different figures. I've seen as low as 66.6 and as high as 88.5. Can someone link me to a reliable place that always shows the up to date minute by minute price?
Many thanks.
Whatever James mate, whatever. Your hyperbole cost people pensions and mortgages. Luckily I'm only in for 5% of my overall portfolio, but his rhetoric is nothing more than what you'd expect to find at Camden Market.
Time to put these shares in the bottom draw and forget about them. It's hardly possible for us to lose much more, so switching off. Perhaps one day I'll wake up and see I've broken even. Farewell.
HCM was the first stock that I bought all by myself 4-5 years ago. Before that, I had invested through a fund manager and he made all my investing decisions.
5 years ago I decided to go it alone and I purchased HCM after attending an analysts meeting as an intern. Interestingly enough, HCM has also been my most successful share. I bought around the £17 mark and saw it right the way up to the recent highs. Sold some along the way, and now I have decided to fully derisk myself and sell all my holdings.
I think HCM can achieve great things, and I've profited nicely from it so far, but I'm gradually moving towards a value investing approach and HCM is certainly no value stock.
Good luck to all, been a great ride in this share. And good luck to Davey, thank you for your insight along the way.

I agree Davey, and I've been a fan of yours for a number of years. Been in HCM ever since I met Mr Hogg and team at an institutional investors event many years ago. I decided never to sell then, and I'm the same now. Clearly there are reasons to sell, but this is not one of them.
Good luck all.
This share is highly dependent on expectation mate. I'm not surprised in the slightest. Upon bad news, companies tend to drift towards, and even past, their book value. This has a long way to fall without positive news. Best sell up for switch off for the good of our health.
hear hear. 50p is hardly exciting and certainly not why I invested in this share. 50p does not justify the risk. You can apply perhaps a 15% chance of success in these O&G companies to succeed, thus you certainly need a high rate of return to justify the risk.
I have never heard so much rubbish in all my life. I just bought into this share a few hours ago. Will be looking to hold for a long while, 11.2% dividend for me, as long as I hold it and they continue to pay. Which, btw, they can easily do as they have a dividend cover of 4.1.
I standby my assertion that at the very least, a tie should be procured for him. Perhaps he could take out "options" to procure said tie. He could also seek to farm-out the haircut, and secure a sale agreement for his beard hair, should he successfully shave it.
