What is 77 supposed to represent?

I get that back in the day that there were codes attributed to particular share purchase amounts as an indicator of something happening / needed but why or how is a 1 share purchase even posted given the extremely low value? Is it MMs or someone playing games? Genuinely curious.

That wording used in the last RNA you highlight was written with the end of year accounting date of 30th April 2025 in mind, so commentary reflects position to that point.

The wording used in the RNA a few days earlier on the placing news was a lot more bullish as it was written with 27th October 2025 in mind.

The difference in the timing each piece was written says to me that diamonds will cover debt and that the ‘alternative funding’ wording used in and of year RNA relates to the placing. Time will tell.

What’s got me thinking here is that the US wouldn’t have had a small mcap miner at last weeks discussions without completing due diligence on Vast. People at that level of US government don’t open the discussion doors to just anyone. I know Vast have MOU with Tajikistan which opened the door but still. AP had one shot which a lot of CEOs don’t often get the opportunity to influence. Let’s see if he made the most of that audience.

That commentary from RNS dated for 31 October was reflecting the period up to end of trading year to 30 April 2025, so eludes to placings and not knowing value of diamonds.

Wording taken from Placing RNS dated 29 October states:

For repayment of US$1 million of debt from Alpha and Mercuria in order to secure an extension of their loans, and so enable the Company to receive diamond proceeds to extinguish their and other outstanding debts.

This commentary, which is reflected of the time the RNS was released, is more bullish in its positioning that diamonds will cover debt and some.

Company now has less debt so seems sensible move.

That’s how I read the situation too. The silence on the value of the diamonds seems to be due to a lower valuation than was suggested by the company.

Given that Vast have been secretive on the value of the diamonds is there a scenario whereby the accounts are not filed by Fridays deadline, the SP is suspended and then as if by magic the accounts are released after the diamond sale along with an RNS confirming sold value. This is an unlikely scenario but one nonetheless, along with accounts published before end of week, which is more likely. Interested in views.

Thanks for taking the time to respond. C might be an issue but only due to Vast not disclosing the approx value of the diamonds in the public domain. They may want value to remain unknown. Interesting week ahead.

The initial diamond RNS was on 25th April, 5 days before financial year end. As the company held possession at this point would you expect to see a value attributed to the diamonds in the audited accounts due before end of next week?
