The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode with London Stock Exchange Group's Chris Mayo has just been released. Listen here.
89% owned by insiders and a further 8% owned by institutions, I don't suspect that we will see a big sell off anytime soon tbh
I spent 10 years in banking, much of it working directly with Visa, this is a BIG deal imho. The kickbacks from mastercard are huge, market is missing a trick, expect some substantial movements in next 6 months
This is sadly quite a common problem with these small cap pharma shares. The board talks up a big game but it's all hot air, case in point GDR 'The best in class' test during Covid, couldn't sell it for toffee, share price tanked. DeepVerge they shouted about their all encompassing Covid testing revolution, a big deal with a household name they said on Twitter, turns out it was just an agreement with Dell to support their IT infrastructure. It's now delisted. I did feel this would be different but it's a very precarious position now I've digested it all
I wasn't expecting blockbuster results, if they had made huge sales in the last few months I believe we would have heard more in advance of today. It's always high risk when a company has great tech but a not so great history of making a lot of sales. That being said, this tech is on a different level. There will be interested parties because it's a money spinner, anything that saves time and resource, saves money, the sales will come in my opinion. I would wait until end of Q1 or even H1 before thoughts of selling, that's a good amount of time to start making headwinds imho
Totally agree with you Bline, if ever I find myself frustrated with the share price I remind myself of what OBD has already achieved let alone what it will achieve. EpiSwitch isn't just a prostate test - 'EpiSwitch® data offer insights into systems biology and the physiological manifestation of disease that are beyond the scope of other molecular modalities'. That ultimately tells me the scope of this is at its infancy. I'm holding this until TO as it either goes to the moon or gets bought out. Day to day SP is not very interesting to me at the moment. Roll of January
Great link! thanks for searching out and sharing
This is true, I have a small amount but not topped up into the rise. I hope it's a corking presentation with lots of positive updates
Personal opinion, this is a good company, but this rise is based on anticipation of some kind of news from the presentation. All major news should be appearing in an RNS so if you're hoping for a huge uplift post 12.30pm... it might happen... but I'm not convinced
It certainly was a good time to get onboard, nice little move up today
I was researching this all morning and I must admit it's an intriguing one, my only minor concern is that some of the financials could be better but I think there is a lot of interest here and certainly see a strong business. Also has the magic combo of reliable high recurring revenues and strong cash generation, this is an awful market right now so looking for this kind of investment. I'm in
Yeh, don't be mean to Ria... says Earl who is in fact Ria or perhaps a comedy side kick 'Holy batwings Ria, a share up 20%!' 'To the LSE cave Earl of A55Kiss!' dinner dinner dinner dinner CON MAN!!
I concur, my Dad went through hell with it. This board is becoming nothing to do with the share due to some very odd and dare I say troubled trolls. Lets be mindful that cancer has probably effected every single one of us either personally or with a family member or friend. Grow up and be a decent human being
Oh it's a saviour complex, 'My Hero' by foo fighters plays as Toffers walks out on to the stage, the crowd is calling 'save us all from capital loss Toffers-bi Wan Kenobe, you're our only hope'. Toffers approaches the microphone 'Prostate cancer isn't even that bigger deal' and walks offstage to booming applause... You're a class A muppet
I won't be doing that purely because in your desperation to drag the price down you're playing down the risks of prostate cancer. For that reason, your opinions are worthless
I don't know you Toffers either from on here or any other walk of life but frankly you come across incredibly ill informed. For the benefit of the ones who haven't blocked you. Let's have a nice debunk:
- Cancer spreads. Did you know that? So that last post about prostate cancer survival rates is in effect, the most moronic post I've read on here so please, do take a bow
- Your 10 minute NHS test research which was touted 3 years ago and is not anywhere near the level of sophistication of this test. Our test is using multiple markers and the NHS one... well if you really had read and understood fully, you'd know that it is night and day
I'd say continue with your nonsense if you wish but anyone with half a brain can see you are the one that the village idiot points at and laughs
Arguing with trolls is a waste of time but needless to say no one should be showing prejudice towards race/religion etc. It doesn't help the board or wider society, division and hate are how you are controlled. The more you hate, the easier you are to control. Educate yourselves... back to informed & educated polite conversation, that'd def be helpful :)
Or we could just point and laugh, they'd be doing the same to us
Bought in today, agree with comments below, significant re-rate will come
Bought in today on strength of the research note by Shard capital: Why these results are so good. The metallurgical testwork on samples from Boland indicate high recoveries of the sought-after HREOs and MREOs, and lower recoveries of the low value LREOs. Not all clay REE deposits are comparable and deposit grade is not the most important factor. Rather, the economic viability of clay-hosted REEs is dependent on mining/extraction and processing factors which are in turn related to mineralogy and REE mobility, in much the same way that refractory gold ores require more costly processing techniques to liberate the gold. In this regard, the high recoveries seen in this testwork were achieved: 1. Within a short time (30mins), 2. At ambient temperatures (22°C), 3. Using on a weak acid (pH 4) with comparable acidity to orange juice, 4. With low acid reagent consumption and 5. With low rates of dissolution of gangue/impurity elements. - As posters below have stated, sure, I expect fund raises, but this Mcap with that unique and sought highly after resource... I'll take a chance
I watch this like a hawk, my average is 19 and just dying to keep that average low whilst topping up. Genuinely, read the research note that came out last week if you have access. I was bullish and now my biggest holding, the SP is too low imho
