I am holding because I only invested what I am prepared to lose. There is still a chance they can make this work. When the company does something worthy of praise I will be positive. It's not a prerequisite to be happy clappy when you are invested.
@SGF
I understand you want to try and protect your investment, but (technologies aside) what TapWater says is fundamentally true.
Until they start recycling using an automated process they are selling a 'dream project '.
Difficult to make a profit manually recycling lead acid batteries which is why many go to landfill etc.
Agreed LL, which is why it's difficult to take what they say at face value. Many fell into the same trap back in February (I think), when they declared the first plant 'open'. It's these kind of comms that lead to the suspicions voiced by TapWater. Many of the early doubters have already sold up. Still has potential to be a good business, but whether this bod can deliver remains to be seen. All AIM stocks are a gamble, so might be worth a punt at current prices, if you want to diversify.
@LL
Under the name Halo Battery Recycling Ltd they received the site permit for Tipton in May 2022, and ABTO status for industrial and automotive batteries, and for portable batteries on 17th August 2022. Given they will have to tie up contracts, employ and train staff etc . it might be a stretch for them to be operational already.
@SI
I don't believe I said it adds any clarity. The only beneficiaries of the takeover are shareholders of Recyclus, who have converted a next to worthless company into a tradable asset on AIM. Take a look at the info for Recyclus on Companies House. All very opaque. Last posted unaudited accounts December 2020 when they had £7000 in the bank. Not due to post accounts again until 2023, due to taking advantage of some accounting arrangement/regulation.
The bod are strategically astute when it comes to protecting their own wealth and diluting their exposure to risk, likely at the expense of pi's. There's little value in this takeover for pi's other than some cost savings in the future IF they manage to turn this around. Brundle is a great communicator, but I find it difficult to take what he says at face value now. I hope it comes good for everyone here, including myself, but I won't be increasing my exposure until some significant progress is made in terms of revenue. Current price is probably a good entry point though. All in mho.
@sgf
Fair comment, and I agree with your analysis.
The RNS is deliberately written to obfuscate, which just adds to my distrust of the bod. I would personally vote against and let the thing run its course, rather than see the bod walking away with pockets full of pi's cash
Oh dear, this really is down the pan now. Was my biggest holding, but has gradually been overtaken by several other investments, even in these turbulent times. SGF and SI, the perpetual rampers, are strangely quiet...... News of this must have leaked end of last week, judging by sp movement. Shysters who promised a lot and delivered F A.
I take your point, 9 months since admission and no news of substance. Pretty spectacular sp fall, even by AIM standards. I've had a modest punt, and will top up if it hits a new low. It's got to bounce at some point......
Agreed, a period of consolidation would be prudent, pulling back on the planned 2023 expansion. Fill the coffers before the grim economic outlook hits revenue.
From Marketwatch By Jaime Llinares Taboada
Technology Minerals PLC said Monday that Chief Financial Officer James Hannon has resigned to pursue other opportunities.
The battery metals company has begun the process to find a successor.
@Horult
They should not have issued an RNS stating the plant was opening in February if they did not have all the statutory requirements in place.
@SGF
Why get abusive because people post opinions at odds with your own? Oh, maybe it's the sp......
Personally, I think the sp will continue its gradual fall until the the first recycling plant is open for business and has an income stream. Management messed up with their failure to get Environment Agency clearance to start recycling ops. Any more mistakes like that and I will be de-risking here. Can only assume Stanbury is distracted by all the other pies he has his fingers in.

Try reading the news link at top of this page. Then you will realise you are talking ****e.
TV ads, really? Folk don't watch TV much these days, mostly streaming, I would have thought for their target consumers.
