I naively thought we would have been away to the races soon after the election.

It does look like GoB are going to go all out on extracting all their domestic resources though.

I mentioned the other day that i think they will go Bara/Phulbari combined, with an update to feasibility studies required.

Will they kick off feasibility studies to all the other locations at the same time?

Regardless, Bara/Phulbari would be the first ready to go. Obviously Phulbari on its own is ready to develop now.

Going to be an interesting year even if its been a disappointing start.

Not once have i talked GCM down, nor will i as i believe the project will go ahead.

I will continue to highlight the misleading information as it achieves nothing & has damaged the confidence people have in investing in GCM.

Nobody cares who has who filtered either. Irrelevant & pointless info to post

GoB has not included GCM in the initiative & to state otherwise is misleading.

That is not to say they won’t in the near future though & of course, if it was to be included it fits in perfectly.

Hence why GCM stated this

“The Board believes that the Project remains well positioned to contribute to Bangladesh's long-term energy security objectives should the Government decide to proceed with the development of domestic coal resources. As with any major resource project, development of the Phulbari Project remains subject to the approval of the Government of Bangladesh and the completion of all applicable regulatory and permitting processes.”

If anyone has a statement with the link to anything (official) where it has been stated that GCM & Phulbari is currently part of the belt initiative i will stand corrected.

What about your concerted effort to post lies about a company in an attempt to manipulate the share price?

There is no Phulbari or GCM links to any of this. It is a fabrication created on this bulletin board.

The most viable scenario for mining open pit is doing both Bara & Phulbari at the same time. As has been suggested by various experts over the past two decades.

I guess that that scenario would require feasibility studies doing as GCM didn’t incorporate it in their studies. That could potentially mean GCM being involved with both or selling their stake on.

Either way, more delay.

He’ll be busy updating the “official” Phulbari website.

Parties known to him in a top secret WhatsApp group are all shorting GCM. In fact, anybody who doesn’t agree with everything he posts is shorting GCM.

I can clarify that the genuine long termers here & in the WhatsApp group are still holding & are long & strong.

We are quite confident the SoD approval will come.

Just because some of them have chosen not to post as much is because there isn’t much to say.

You need to wind your neck in digit & stop making false accusations about other posters.

Some of us don’t feel the need to be pumping this stock with misleading information & statements 24/7.

China will be waiting a while before touching our coal. It will be at least 2 years from SoD approval before any Phulbari coal is ready. I believe it was agreed there will be no exporting of coal until domestic requirements are met either.

Share price is the fact.

Some need to become a bit less emotionally attached & look at the whole picture, rather than just the bits you want to see & hear. Especially the parts from dubious sources you tend to cling on too.

Bit of growing up too, as you seem unable to accept differing opinions 🤷‍♂️

Only thing we need is an RNS from GCM saying SoD has been approved.

Everything else is just the same old repetitive noise from the same old posters. Until actual approval comes the SP will continue to do relatively little

The fact that some on here feel the need to try & pass off speculation as fact, actually shows how less confident you are than myself that the project will go ahead.

I get fed up with desperate rampers trying to mislead others. It’s wrong. You have zero integrity. Its been happening for nearly two decades.

It is a big reason why this share no longer reacts to the positive press anymore.

Has anyone got a link where it’s officially been stated that Phulbari overburdened will be used for the Teesta project, or any reference that the two projects are even linked please?

Or is this just bulletin board speculation rather than fact?
