With all due respect, Bamps didn't predict this fall in gold price. And both gold and GGP are much higher than when he made the 'infamous' post. His post related to an anticipated fall in production for Dec qtr.

Ferrisc, he's the guy that sold out at above £4 in order to try to buy back in at £3.50. Of course that could have just been a blatant de-ramp.

Also ridiculed those that were predicting £5-6 by Xmas. Just so happened that those people were quite correct.

It was before EG/Newmont. I also remember the share price jumping when a few gold nuggets were found on the surface of, I think, the BlackHills tenement. First price paid was .0042p. Probably 2017?

If that Alan Bond mining company was called North Kalgurli Mines, then I did exactly the same. Almost sold the Tuesday before BW, but thought it would go higher. The next day it dropped from 85p to 55p. One of my first dabbles into the markets.
