RE: SDC-1801 data19 Jul 2020 15:29
The SARS-Cov-2 pandemic presents Sareum with an unexpected opportunity to test its lead TYK2 inhibitor, SDC-1801, in COVID-19. Such a move would require external funding, but could accelerate clinical development timelines and catalyse a substantial increase in value. Meanwhile, the recent £1m fundraising allows Sareum to advance SDC-1801 towards trials for mainstream autoimmune conditions.Sareum intends to make grant applications to explore the activity of SDC-1801 in COVID-19, where the aim would be to reduce the immune system over-reaction that is seen in the later phase of the infection. If such grant applications are awarded, SDC-1801 could join a group of drugs – including a number of JAK inhibitors – that have been fast-tracked into trials for COVID-19 As a dual TYK2/JAK1 inhibitor, SDC-1801 could be more effective and/or better tolerated than these similar compounds in COVID-19.
B-M-S tyk2 phase 3 trial result is due this month anytime from nowSAR TYK2 1801 is possible the first indication in COVID related cytoline storm??? Hmmmmmmmthe competition is slowly getting few and far between, as I think we will beat phizer hands down..big pharma will be cueing up at the door for a stake soon enough,
and although we all want the SP to x10 like other stock jumping on the COVID 19 test kit bandwagon
I can't say I blame the BOD for keeping it quiet with a slow rerate
as there is Chinese and Russian hackers about trying to steal Vaccine secret on SKY NEWS
A few days ago, so they got to be extra careful what they tell the Market
if they are still waiting on patent to be granted for this important indication..
so we will all have to be a little bit more patient and wait for official RNS or tweet
in these secretive time.. but I can see SP going back over 1p imminently
on any good or bad result from BMS phase 3 trial
