Elon also made it very clear the other day, that he is going to need more nickel. With that, you must also now appreciate that he could be looking at russia as a source of cobalt and nickel.
The geology of Monchegorsk is very unique, norilsk nickel is already there close by.

The green energy revolution is only set to accelerate from here onwards, tesla to rapidly expand, with that, comes the requirement to have secure supply sources by all means.
Other car companies are expanding their EV line, they are playing catch up to him, but they all place extra demand on commodities.
If the Anglo JV battery using a palladium cathode is one of the next main stream batteries to be used, then you will appreciate how securing a palladium dominant resource, which also has, nickel and cobalt, would be quite advantageous.

The possibility is there, we'll just have to wait and see what the revised figures say and then assess the situation again at that stage.

The biggest obvious point, is that any side will know that they have to out bid the chinese, with that comes the requirement to bring a good solid buying strength.
The easiest way to achieve that is by way of a conglomerate imho.

JV, conglomerate purchase, it's the same thing. Anglo and platinum group metals would bring the mining expertise, tesla would use the palladium cathode batteries, spacex PGMs for thrusters. It really isn't that far of a stretch of the imagination in all honesty.

Yeah Krispy, the 10 day deadline said 3:30pm on the 10th business day, so i'm simply assuming the same will apply to the 28 days, if it had been applied here. It hasn't, the PUSU deadline has been removed.

You can only go off what is in RNS to date jonesrichard.

If, or when, a new reserves statement comes out, then you would go over everything again if it is applicable at the time.

I would refrain from getting too attached to any money figures at this stage, personally i find GMF78s and the ACF report pretty good for now.
GMF78 will no doubt adjust his workings if larger figures come out in a revised reserve statement situation.

But as of right now, it's the number in RNS that we go off, the mining plan being the one that has currently been assessed the most so far.

He's very good at the geological research of the area 2857mal, but what is applicable to the company at present is in the company RNS.

The same RNS states that they're working on a revised reserve statement, so i believe we'll get news on that when it's appropriate.

Until something comes in RNS, that is the mining plan, it was only made evident on the 1st this month, so is the most recent RNS to go off in terms of a mining plan for MT.

We have to stick to RNS, it is the official communication line to the market and us shareholders.
