Appears to be a hostile takeover does it not?. Quite a different kettle of fish than a FSP ran with multiple interested parties.
The takeover group has made the right move there, with future copper demand and pricing forecasts imho.

Definitely not the quickest Gilen, i never expected it to take this long from last years bank RNS, but, if it's a huge deal like most shareholders are expecting, then the wait will all be worth it. The biggest positive sign is that Citic have had resources tied up to this for over a year and agreed to the success fee basis right at the start. If they were not confident then they would not have agreed to such terms for such a long period of time to be honest.
When UBS came on board and then DLA Piper, it really did cement in my mind that a very large deal is being done.

We'll all be smiling and celebrating at the end of all of this, i'm certain of that.

Many seem to like to grab what they can when they think it's at a bargain level. News can land at any stage, the longer this goes on then the more likely it is that we may well wake up to that red dot that ends all red dots. How long do we give it for DLA Piper to get everything sorted out on the legal side?. That's the only question at this stage imho

Some others have took a right beating tbh EE, EUA i agree, it has held pretty well. The sp swings won't change the FSP result, they're interested in what's in the ground at the assets that are for sale, and those assets are exactly the same now as they have always been, full of goodies and extensive exploration and studies back it all up.

Nothing has changed, and all things considered, with the wider market turbulence it hasn't done bad today imho. We're still a long way up from that high teen range we were at not long ago, and the MM's really do use any opportunity they can get for a shake, so today isn't much of a surprise tbh.

Every day is a day closer, didn't someone say that tomorrow will be day 120 in the FSP, an area where a lot of other M&A deals have landed?

I would agree with that dvharrison. True shareholders would just sit sipping on their favourite beverage with a big smile on their face.

They just milk any opportunity, it's not like we have not seen big dips historically, they're part of the game here tbh. Annoying as they are, it's just how it is. When the deal news lands, the big swings end, and we can then all sit grinning from ear to ear at the new level and the fact we stood by our research and investment.

That's exactly it bori. We're in a transparent FSP, the takeover code makes it all transparent. The entire M&A team are still here and doing what they have been set up to do. It's just a matter of time.

It's fasle for Eurasia because we're in a FSP and likely a deal is about to land, where for other companies that are still normally trading, it's more of a true effect for them. By this stage, the deal figure will have been agreed, quite possibly some time ago, and so the sp to the deal is irrelevant imho.

It probably is difficult for some to watch, but, the whole market is being hit, every miner i have typed into the search is red at the minute. Most people will use it as a chance to buy stocks at a discount. Covid and US elections won't go on forever, they're just temporary blips in the grander scheme of things.
