This company looks good until you understand its market . It is really a duopoly with Nanosonics, an Australian listed company who make the Trophon machine. Trophon is an automated, digitised chamber-based disinfection solution, and its recent innovations (particularly in time per cycle) mean it can comfortably outcompete Tristel. Trophon dominates the US market and this is why Tristel’s progress in the US has been so alarmingly slow. Alarm bells really start ringing when you see that nanosonics have recently set up an office in the UK (where tristel currently dominates) - a market Nanosonics themselves describe as having all the right fundamentals for adoption. Trophon is comprehensively a better product than Tristel and I believe will displace it entirely. What’s even more concerning is the longer term threat from UV-C. This is a sell, not a buy.
