if that's accurate then worst case the short interest is 0.49% as they say they no longer track it when it falls below 0.5%. Thanks Peter.
Does anyone know the short interest for AM? Has it been increasing in line with the decline in the share price or is the fall mainly due to the selling consistently outweighing buying?
"My prediction providing there are no takeovers Alm will be worth more than Tesla in 2 years time."
Are you referring to market cap? That's very bullish! You're a lot more knowledgeable than me though when it comes to investing but that seems a big statement. Are you expecting a Tesla crumble or purely ALM exploding?
Interesting. What sort of information do you think they might be conveying?
What would be the purpose of someone buying or selling just one share? Clearly there’s no fee for them when they do it. Very strange.
About a 12% swing in a few mins if I’m not mistaken.
Thanks guys. I’ve seen a few numbers that didn’t make sense on here. Will always check the official site now ??
What am I getting wrong here please Nix? Yesterday’s close says 30.00. Today’s price is 30.55. So 0.55 up. So should be 1.83% up? How is 5.92% arrived at?
Me too Nucky....
Why is it in the red and down today when it’s 0.85 up on yesterday’s close? Bit puzzling.
Thanks for the replies. Interesting and something to consider in the long run.
Can I ask a question about the potential IPO on Nasdaq? Would that send the Alm share price up directly or would ALM get a huge chunk of cash that it might then distribute as a special dividend?
Good question. I'm also keen to find out why this happens.
that makes sense, cheers
ALM generally seems to have quite a big spread. Some companies have 0.1 or even 0.01 sometimes. What causes such a big spread? 7% at the moment seems massive.
Ah right. Cheers for the heads up mate
Gonna be interesting to see whether tomorrow’s financial results create any movement in the SP.
CA owning 20% is a fair whack. Is there a set percentage that they got to, where they would be required to place a takeover bid of AM?
haha i wouldn't even call it optimism really. Wishful thinking at best. Snaffle is right. The dividend is so big that it's a decent amount to put into another company. I've accepted and willing to hold for months now so i'm comfortable with the situation.
Hopefully people manually reinvest their big dividend this Friday. And then 6 weeks later, the trading update brings good news ??
