Can't remember how long the supply of the coking coal will last (think 30 years was mentioned) so if it is a total sale many years of revenue will be foregone for a big lump upfront , either way it should give a huge uplift here.

Yes Earl that is the pre China deal with CoalZim and South Mining LOI and it was quoted as $1 mill ebit /month , if the current possible deal goes through with Tsingshan Group/ Afrochine, then it becomes a much bigger prospect as they will put their plants on site to dry the coking coal for coke.
A lot to be positive about and with a supply on Tsingshans doorstep.

Joint broker brought in to encourage institutional interest was the first speech, then it turned out they wanted to fundraise for the company , they it turned out that they were brought in to churn the warrants through and there won't be a holdings RNS because they (the ones who were offered the placing ) have probably sold and gone elsewhere for a 5% profit , may be some left in but they will revisit when the next warrants are executed at 3.75. However before they are executed the sp will be much higher and bought for a quick churn.
JV partner will want as much as possible for as little as possible and a sure bet for themselves which you can't blame them for.
However all of that will shortly be behind us and onwards and upwards.
As far as the drilling goes I think the contractors will be committed elsewhere and won't be available come the end of the winter season there but the new rig will take their place and will be cheaper on the drilling costs of course as well as giving full core recovery.
Depends what any JV partner is prepared to put into a venture too so the bigger the partner the better.

Precisely Matador , people only change phone companies etc; reluctantly and banks don't tend to make anything hassle free . Barwick does have a point that it doesn't cause the large discount but it will have some effect on the trading of SEED shares and will have a discounting effect.

It is a valid point but in reality if people don't want to be in barclays for that reason then they can sell and buy through another provider unless it is ISA'd etc; and then it is a big factor.
