A great result this morning. Significant win at Orlando Airport. Underlines capability in aviation market. Moving forward very competently. Well done team.
Real affirmation of Thruvision’s offering and most importantly from independent entitities. Excellent work from the management team and a further huge boost to invested confidence.
Outside of institutional and significant private family trust holdings, other trading appears so fickle that the only way that we are going to see a decent return from these holdings is for a complete takeover of the company at a fair price reflecting growing contracts and some significant intellectual rights.
Thank you - I suppose that’s possible but would have thought there they have their head above water for the time being. Tom and team also alluded to a series of expected wins coming through in the short term - I also have seen all lot of increased TV publicity recently about the need to tighten prison control of contraband - so fingers crossed.
RE: Over half the company is now in strong hands14 Dec 2025 08:53
Tom Black and the team didn’t need to make this statement so this is extremely encouraging. Given the low base that the SP sits on currently, a further substantial contract win is going to make a tangible difference. Hold on.
Having been a consistent investor for five years, driven by complete confidence in the management team and strength of the product offering, we are, without doubt, on an upward trajectory now. Go for it guys.
I think it’s worth remembering that the shares being traded are a minute fraction of the shares being held be principal private investors and institutions. The volatility of the share price can continue for as long as it likes in my view, due to superficial trades, but the fundamentals of this company remain the same. There are 10 or so material opportunities being discussed which would be game changers. No major investor is going to change strategy until these opportunities materialise.
I couldn’t agree more. The wild price fluctuation is pretty absurd. We all knew how tough the last financial year was and that some financial security and prospects had been secured.
Whilst I accept that an RNS would be very welcome, I still have absolutely confidence that the SP has no relationship to the company’s true value. And let’s face it, the trades that have been executed over the last few weeks have been superficially tinkering at the edges. Wait for US news in September which could be a game changer.
I understand that it’s a complicated process with a significant number of highly specialised parts in a system and manufacturing - assembly and test takes much longer than two days. The trade off, in respect of your final paragraph is a correct summary of management's juggling act. The key is keeping the supply chain ticking over on minimum cash out the door and ability to surge production quickly if a big order comes in.
Do we have any idea what service contracts are in place with all the kit that is provided? I believe that , following purchase, support (for what period?) is included but presumably there must be further servicing opportunities? That’s why by Rolls Royce holdings are looking healthy.
Solentski, I am also very confident about prospects here. Unlike many others, I am committed for the medium/long term and sense that we are on the right platform now for some excellent growth now.
I think a reasonable mistake to make by Bobat although I did think it really did given Cantor’s stated commitment and confidence in the business. I have been invested for four years, made full use of the retail offer and continue to top up. The management team has always been excellent (Colin Evans was actually also an incredibly sound guy) and I remain ‘in’ for the long haul.
Whilst the view stated is that the dial should have moved further, we are only talking about £90k of transactional activity. This isn’t enough to make a material difference I feel. The upside will come following more contract news - this seems inevitable. I believe the ‘Asia’ contract is very high profile and this will add further credibility once more information about it is made known.
