The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
See my post below for some good news. Zimbabwe building their own lithium extraction plant. Chmx and Clon have the simplest and greenest DLE on the market once proven ( upscaled ). It works in the lab. ARKLE RESOURCES have 3 lithium sites in Zimbabwean and other lithium miners are interested in backing and investing in the lithium plant. That costs us nothing we just get a percentage of it 15% if I’m not mistaken. On top of that as the report says other companies are interested in using the technology. As I found out a while ago GALAN lithium ( they have over 6 million tons of lithium) and Cleantec lithium ( over 1 million tons of lithium) then you have the Chilean government who have privatised the rest of the lithium will surely be interested in using our DLE as it’s easier to set up move about and increase production 😉
Remember this is Q3 from the 30th September. Nothing new is provided. Unfortunately 😢
Old news . They were always moving lab as the one they were in does not suit testing large amounts of brine. The pilot plant will be fully operational for full test in Q1. The pilot plant should be up and ready before for testing and tweaking to make sure it works correctly
Plus you have Glencore buy lithium from GALAN lithium in Argentina. Glencore are mining lithium in DRCG they could be seeing which DLE will work best as Clon potentially have a JV with GALAN lithium this could be more markets open to Clon and Chmx
Looks like they will be building a lithium processing plant in Zimbabwe. With the greenest DLE . Pushed buy John Teeling as Zimbabwe aims to be greener. You have KOD, Prem, RRR and ARKLE RESOURCES possibly all using the DLE rather than shipping just the ore to China
John teeling is talking at the Zimbabwe mining conference this week in London 🤔
John Teeling director of Clontarf Energy, Botswana Diamonds and ARKLE RESOURCES!
ARKLE have just discovered lithium in Ireland and has the licenses for lithium exploration in Zimbabwe.

From Clons last rns
The resurgence of interest in African exploration and development may lead to additional proposals in the coming months. Clontarf continues to insist on strict adherence to our ESG standards.
Several lithium producers have entered into memoranda of understanding with Government to participate in the development of the mines to energy park, a transformative project aimed at maximising the value of the country’s mineral resources.
The project encompasses construction of two 300-megawatt power stations, a coking plant with an annual capacity of 1,2 million tonnes of coke, a 130 000-tonne-per-annum lithium salt plant, a graphite processing plant, a nickel-chromium alloy smelter and a nickel sulfate plant.
These ongoing beneficiation projects are indicative of the growing recognition of Zimbabwe’s vast mineral potential. By adding value to its mineral resources through local processing, Zimbabwe is set to reap greater economic benefits from its mining sector.
No a payment plan has been set up. So no extra charges ior when the diamonds arrive ( depending on value) some or all of the debt can be paid. But as I posted recently. $5 million or possibly more will be required initial investment to the Jv mine in Zimbabwe. Any income will take about 6months to be received. So the payment plan allows for continuous payments initial larger income is generated to pay off the outstanding debt. But as in vox interview posted below in another message. AP does mention various projects in Zimbabwe
It does say other guest speakers
Something to think on.
Zimbabwe are holding a mining investment meeting in the U.K. next week. Would you like to leave the fact a U.K. company had won court case against the government and refused to hand over the diamonds to the winning party. Then also refuse the agreed Jv mining agreement!
That doesn’t make the country look open for genuine investment. Or resolve the matter and announce the deal before the conference and ride on the publicity 🤔
Remember Zimbabwe have been protesting recently to get the sanctions against the country dropped. What better way than letting the U.K. back into the country investing. Getting the U.K. to speak up about easing sanctions and allowing more western investment other than just eastern investment. Starting with vast and their previous claims. Showcasing Zimbabwe is legitimate and regulated. Just in time for a big mining investment meeting in the U.K. next week 😉
The company that was mining vasts site and had that amount of diamonds confiscated at the time were valued at $31,350,553 puts half value at approximately $16million from roughly 2010. What’s that price now?
Just on splitting profits there were more diamonds but vast are left with half which leaves the total of 129400 . So it’s just the costs and any payments for the KP.
Approximately 26400grams of diamonds were declared by Vast for valuation by MMCZ that were subsequently confiscated and to this day, is believed to still be sitting at the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ)
Yes but it’s to show the predicated costs and income. The initial costs. That’s why they have set the debt repayment as a large part of the debt will be invested in the Jv mine and the debt repayment until income comes in
Https://www.businessweekly.co.zw/alrosa-finalises-diamond-investment/amp/
The money from the diamonds and the debt restructuring is because an initial investment in the Jv mine is $5million. So regular payments will be made to cover the shortfall from investing in the diamond mine. Until enough income is made to repay the remaining money
Would look really good for Zimbabwe if the historic parcel was handed over and mining contract was sorted before the meeting. Showing that it’s a good place for investment. Looks like AP could be in Zimbabwe picking up the parcel

The fact they are talking about this in parliament speaks volumes. They are looking for investment in mines
