I gained £1000 from my earlier 20 min SB trade - that came off of my Lloyds share purchase costs - reducing my average from 21.24 to 21.19

A profit in one company to reduce an average on another company - not for me.

If someone likes they could say that a portfolio of shares is for free if a profit has been taken in another amounting to the cost of the remaining portfolio - but once again, not for me.

Only Lloyds trades decrease or increase my Lloyds average cost base.

I am happy with the shares being bought at any level above a 5% yield - currently about 6.5% on current share price?

When companies announce a buyback, purchases would normally take place on a daily basis at a price the market is currently valuing the business at, rather than the money sitting there for days/weeks/months hoping that the market gives a much lower valuation.
How many shareholders would like to see BAT go down to £26 before buyback money is used as a return to shareholders.
A buyback doesn't determine the continuing changing company valuation - it is just a mechanism to remove X amount of shares from the market.

Why is it that you no longer post on the boards of companies where you are losing a lot of money?, and how is it that you have never posted on any board of a company where you must have made a fortune to multiply your portfolio 6 fold in ten years,even taking into account the losses on those companies where you did post ?

The last time I looked, about 14,000 hospital beds were being taken by Covid 19 patients.
A proportion of the extra burden on resources could have been preventable with vaccination. Every extra bed being occupied when preventable could have been used for others that need hospital treatment needing a stay.
