You seem to be fixated between the link between oil price and share price .
It is not everything. Getting rid of debt and getting rid of a percentage of shares in issue with a stable oil price would have an impact on share price.
Currency rate another factor. A flight to value another factor. An increasing dividend another factor.

We have had rock bottom base rates since 2009.
Next month could see a rate up to or beyond the highest rate since the period starting in 2009.

With great profitability, and with decreasing debt and decreasing share count, I consider £20 to be a floor on which to build.

Why is it that you no longer post on the boards of companies where you are losing a lot of money?, and how is it that you have never posted on any board of a company where you must have made a fortune to multiply your portfolio 6 fold in ten years,even taking into account the losses on those companies where you did post ?

I posted the open - I posted the close with my new average (no mention on size of SB).

Of course, any sensible BOD would only want buybacks to take place when they believe in their judgement, that the purchases represent good value.
