The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
You would like to think they may hold for the gains after the sandfire tie up unless they believe they sold a pup
I'm thinking on good initial DFS results, perhaps a few months in and the results keep giving us positive news, our market cap could move to £300M = around 1.5p
Old George could mess it up by using all the shares for NMH but let's hope he keeps the eye on the prize
I wouldn't mind seeing a merger with KAV and Ben Turney being made CEO of the new setup with Colin stepping back as Chairman (on a reduced salary). Between the two companies, we could potentially be massssssive
Miners often issue shares and cash for hole drilling, don't be so sure GLR won't do that too. I have some KAV but 13 x more in GLR. We are due news on other fronts soon surely, not just the KCB
How about we merge with kavango, job done and BOOM goes the share price when we both find the red metal
Maybe a strategic stake in JLP by one of the majors could accelerate progress.
We need a comprehensive brokers note. But the CEO said in the presentation they would really have to provide most of the data and help the broker to release one. It is something they are working on/or rather thinking about
Happy with my friday purchase now.
Out of interest, has anyone any views on the prospects of GLR versus Kavango (KAV). I bought a bit there for their Botswana copper prospects but wonder with their market cap at only around £10M if it was worth increasing.
slightly peeved i had to pay 1.8p and someone managed a decent wedge at 1.76p but should be over it by next week. I expect we will see the weekend paper finance sections full of copper talk
I really believe we will. For Sandfire to do the deal they have done, those heli survey results must be convincing and Colin said in the interview that they were excellent. Looking forward to XTR rises when the drilling starts. I was really lucky there, bought some at 1.9p and within a day they started the rise, maybe not so quick here but with copper going nuts, everyone is going to be buying copper companies
Had an empty ISA and suddenly copper prices got the better of me and don't want to miss out on the meteoric GLR rise about to happen. Holding 10M now sh@t or bust
just added 1M at a fill or kill price 1.8p
Really struggled to get them over the last couple of days, was trying to get them cheaper than ask but they were not having it. Ended up costing me £2K extra, what a bozo eh
I think Leon must have some deals he is working on to add to the stockpile. I think Colins 500M remark was probably just a mistake/exaggeration unless Leon announces another 200M tonnes soon. Mind you, he never announced the last increase up to 300M tonnes did he.
I would have snapped your hands off for 20p last year, I am in all the way here now
Looking good, bound to be a bit of a correction though before carrying on with the re-rate. In profit now on a fair chunk of my holding, a couple more pennies and am there with 90% of it. Still have 100K in my old charles schwab/barclays account, that will be under water for some time to come i suspect. May sell it to take the loss and use the loss against cgt elsewhere
Welcome to the new PRM'ers
You have saved yourself 20 years of pain and probably bought in at just the right time. Quite amazing that they have stayed afloat for so long but now its self funding it finds itself in an area with a very bright future. I think some m&a activity could be on the cards soon which could see PRM on the acquisition trail unless we are the target. That could temporarily hit the share price as we go for growth. but then makes us an even juicier target ourselves.
Having averaged right down over the last two years, I had planned to sell if i ever broke even, not planning to do that anymore.
It has been a long time indeed but as the CEO said, most other proteomic companies are still not commercialised so we are and making a profit. Something to build on. When you say multi bagger, I am hoping for 20p but will re-evaluate once we get there. We traded at between 20-40p for a long time before dropping down to the lowest levels on the last CEO's reign. Some more PR and we could edge back up there
Just watched the presentation and was very interesting

I took a small position some years back, only 100K shares which have been well under water. I looked at the small stakes the company has in Colins other companies and feel something big could happen here to light up the share price. So I added 500K yesterday and 300K today. GLR, JLP, XTR etc I all hold and all are rising and the beginning of their journey so I can only see growth here at little old Tiger
JLP still don't have an experienced multi PLC FD yet do they, unless I missed that rns. Isn't it all still being done inside with the accounts team
Sable cost us around $18M if I remember correctly. Was would a plant like that cost to build from scratch, was it about $100M in which case would still be viable unless there are other older plants we could buy
