Bid 2.21, ask 2.50 and share price of 2.14. I am a little confused by this. Can someone more knowledgeable give any insight?

So we went up on no news. We are now fluctuating on unsurprising news. Let's all just take a step back and wait till some of the expected news come through. Its either doom doom or hype hype on here I swear. The reality is somewhere in the middle.

Why so many tiny trades today of a couple of Quid? Very odd.

Its quite funny reading the posts here. While I am not saying they are without merit, we are just in the "doom" phase of the cycle which will change and then we go off again. Honestly if people are so disillusioned they should sell and move on. It can't be good for their health to be constantly annoyed and frustrated. A brisk walk, a cup of tea and things might not seem so bad.

Oh wow, the share price has gone down. Oh wow the share price has gone up again! And down...then up.....come on. Let's get a bit of perspective. This share goes up and down like a nuns....let's all go for a cup of tea, take a breath and not look at the share price except for once a week. I think we will all live longer.

Personally I think that because of all of the previous false dawns. We need to see something concrete now, not just trials etc. A contract a revenues is whats needed. And has been for some time. Still, we seem to be getting there....

A positive rns. The last statement by Mike seems telling. He seems to believe that as long as things go to plan this is a slam dunk for commercial contracts and revenue. Market however still needs to see this happening before there is a decent price increase. Feels like I will have to wait till mid/late 2021 before we have a significant positive price move.

What I have learnt over the years of holding, selling and holding qfi again is that if I got worried over every price move I would be in an early grave. I have seen qfi go up hugely....on no news. I have seen it drop loads....on no news. It will go up and down sometimes for absolutely no reason. No conspiracy, no backroom plot, it just happens. Acceptance of this has made my life much much more pleasant.

All ftse indexes are down. Also dow. So rather than people flapping I would suggest they take a look at the bigger market picture.

Nearly everything i own is down today. Looks to me to be general sentiment and fear of more covid problems. I don't see this as unique to qfi.

Just thought i would pop in as i see a lot of people dont really know what qfi do and what MSAR is. As a long term QFI holder i thought i would give some info in the hope it might be useful.

Think about heavy fuel oil. This is the bottom of the barrel stuff that isnt good for much apart from making HFO for use in power generation and container/cruise shipping fuel. This stuff is like tar, and traditionally the way to make it more liquid so it can actually be used is to add diesel to it. MSAR uses water and a special chemical and process instead of diesel, meaning that the refinery can sell the diesel they would have used instead of having to use it to make HFO. This makes MSAR potentially cheaper than HFO in a big way, depending on prices of diesel etc. Its a win for the refinery, a win for the end user and its better for the environment too.
QFI have a trial in Morocco soon to start as well as this agreement here. They are also perusing Saudi power generation and in the Americas too. Its a huge potential market with a product that benefits everyone.

Not a great suprise that the trial is delayed, what with the world being in lockdown.....annoying but understandable

Look, the news we are waiting on is most likely Morocco and KSA with possibly another ME country. I am writing everything else off. If something comes in great but it's the Morocco thing I am mostly expecting. Or am I wrong?

I, and probably a fair few other shareholders, are giving it to the end of 2020. This has been promoted as the year when we see substantial progress. Well, alright then let's see it. The management have till the end of the year in my book then it's time to cut losses. Until then I am withholding judgement.

I have been here with qfi a long time and truly hope for the best. It's hard however not to feel jaded with all the positive news that ultimately came to nothing. Buoygate, KSA etc. If you read the RNS you will see that initially this costs qfi money with a "chance" that it will progress. I understand qfi need to spend money to try to make money but I will not let myself be excited till I see an actual revenue generating contract, not a one off payment.
Releasing this on the same day as the AGM feels like manipulation to ensure an easy ride, even though I agree it is positive. That's why what should have been positive still is, but is tainted a little imo. You are of course entitled to your own.

It is positive news for sure, but I hate the way it seems to have been released in order to show some good news for the AGM. I don't like being manipulated, I doubt any of us do. What should have been positive now feels tainted due to the way it was released. Just my opinion though.

My word, it's almost as if they saved this news for the AGM! Surely not......
