Couple of things that make this more positive imo. First is that mearsk decided to go with low sulphur fuel rather than scrubbers, while MSC seem to have had some belief in scrubbers from the start with some of their ships having them fitted. Second is that from the noises they are making MSC want to be a leader in reducing emissions and are perhaps more motivated than Mearsk were. Nothing is guaranteed in this or life though.

Then you just click that you want to participate and make sure you have available funds to pay for it on the day its taken

Depending on who you use it may well show up automatically when you log into your account and will have details then. I remember it does with hargreaves. I think it will be there tomorrow if I read the rns right.

Looks like full allocation taken, directors putting their own money in, no more worries about going under in the medium term. Could be a hell of a lot worse. We all knew a placing was coming and this seems to have gone as well as can be expected.

Qfi need money to bring the projects they are working on to completion. They are raising money by creating more shares. Most of these are going to companies, a smaller amount are available for us private investors. So if you are a qfi holder you can buy more shares shortly at 2.7p a share even if the actual price is higher. Check with your company/broker

While I admire the optimism, and feel it too, I wouldn't say we are de risked. This could all go tits up still, just the chances of that have lessened.
