Is this expected rise in the share price on upcoming drilling about to stir into life?

They are going for lower hanging fruit in Zim. In fact, the gold is already there. Similarly, they are going for what they regard as their best prospect at the KCB. They will have £6 million to attack these projects with, and CEO is actually moving to Zim in the new year.

We can debate where the share price might get to, but there is little debate that with the above exploration coming up within the next 6 months, that 0.6p represents extremely good odds for upside from these levels. Forget what I and others have been saying, just look at some of the large trades that have been going in to accumulate the stock in the 0.5s. At some point when those are all soaked up, it will be stock at these levels that will be hard to come by.

So accumulate what you can at these basement levels and then just wait for the funding/prospectus RNS to land to kickstart the fightback. All imo and dyor

I agree with Snip - rather incredible how certain posters have come out of nowhere to start proclaiming this new regime and reset with ECR. It's all very manipulative.

I'll ask for the fourth time - how do we know these new investors are not the ones that got us here in the first place i.e. robbed us? And now we're supposed to just lap it up, like idiots. No thanks!

I also had several emails go unanswered, which totally contradicts how open and accessible they claim to be. MR lost no opportunity to ramp the DFC before the placing, and has gone relatively quiet about it since. Has the application run into difficulties, or is it pending decision and they don't want to count their chickens so to speak. Alternatively, are Bres wanting to see whether and what funding deal the Chinese are willing to offer first, and want to keep their options open in case it represents a better way forward then a tie up with the US?

Some folk are confusing the DFC and DFS. The former is needed to help fund the latter, which is in progress and won't likely be completed until 2024, funding permitting of course. Fundamentals look good here, but just needs the funding to unlock it, otherwise its back to reliance on dilution, which is probably why the market isn't getting overly excited just yet? Swissy - the irony is that I did the very thing that most of them are now regretting not doing, which is selling in the 9s when the opportunity was there. I did warn them at the time, but they chose to hurl abuse at me instead.

To be honest, I feel for a lot of the posters who have been misled by the BB and He1, but obviously not the morons, of which there are quite a few tbh!

Latorre - I told anyone who cared to listen, as opposed to question my motives and hurl abuse at me, that there WAS a placing coming. That weekend when I first raised it, and took dog's abuse for it, did I listen to the loudest morons on this BB? No, I did not, the very next week I sold most of my holding down in the 9s and the rest went in the days following the presentation where it was even clearer than before (to me) that a placing was about to land.

Therefore, I am out and have remained out. Hence posting less than I was before on here, but watching events unfold closely and with keen interest.

As I have said before, this BB is full of keyboard warrior machismo and hubris, but very little actual nous or clue as to what is actually going on or likely to happen. With the exception of a few posters, it is actually of very little use when it comes to quality, reliability and help with decision making. If anything, do the opposite of the BB seems to be the best that can be said of it, and best use that can be made of it.

To the traders - which is probably 90% of folk, let the chart be your primary guide and cut out anything else as "noise". To the investors/believers, nothing has changed for you folk, the drill will do the talking for you, and you will live or die by its results. GLA

Yes, and despite all this, we should keep following you, even though you have effectively admitted that you have no clue, have got this wrong so far and messed up your own strategy. LMAO

Don't be under any illusions - the vast majority of people on here are in this category, looking to sell out completely or de-risk significantly into spud, and before results are in. Very few are 'investors' in the true sense of being genuine believers in the prospects of a discovery, and who will hold through for results no matter what.

As Wyn has said, it's a binary play, as Tai 1 demonstrated.

What exactly have they sacrificed by taking part in this low ball placing? Their "sacrifices" should have been tied to performance, like the new guys have been. Why should the existing BOD get rewarded for their rank failures in this way by getting cheap shares? None have been offered to loyal shareholders, only so called new investors, who probably shorted/forward sold us in the first place - this whole thing could have been a 'setup' from the outset?

Tamer - we know they aren't drilling this year, because they need to get the vote and funds all sorted out first and we have been told in previous interviews by AJ that drilling season in QLD finishes by Oct/Nov. All imo and dyor

Shares not landing until 1 December. This also means no drilling until next year now as we know from previous interviews that weather conditions meant drilling has to be completed by October.

I'm still wondering if these 'investors' are the same ones who sold us down the river in the first place, and the previous agents of doom are now going to be the agents of boom. Good luck trying to shift that volume of ECR shares without some concrete newsflow and plans to support it though!

The placing was very likely forward sold, as is becoming the norm on AIM these days.

Which is why I say that ECR is currently no more than a potential trading opportunity on the hype, and even then a debatable one. It only gets close to being viewed as a long term investment, when they pull out some unequivocally brilliant drilling results, that are indicative of a potential commercial find, rather than the rubbish results served up to date.

I think AH is gone folks. Tang's comments in the RNS couldn't be clearer in wishing him well for the future.

Tbh, the lack of trust applies to many AIM companies? AIM is a casino in a jungle, and you don't go into either expecting to encounter the best of creation. Retail investors are often the cannon fodder, rather than shareholders to be looked after! This is all part and parcel of AIM, and the risk and reward equation. I wouldn't touch this when it was in the teens, partly because of the BOD - the potential for a fall - the risk - outweighed the reward.

But as recent share price movement has shown, from these 2p levels, it is really hard to see how this goes through TWO back to back drilling campaigns without going on a rise at some point. That's just what WSBN always does. All imo and dyor

Mental - the curse of ECR strikes again. I'm going to wait for the dust to settle and to hear what their actual plans are. I don't like the sound of "new projects" though, as ECR has far too many projects already, and very little resource to explore them with. If it takes on more, it will end up as more of basket case than it is now, with so many projects and no real sense of direction. And I always get suspicious about how makes what in the background when it comes to wheeling and dealing projects!

But I always treat ECR as a trade, not an investment, and if there is a clear trading opportunity to be had in the future, then why not. I should have taken my profits on this latest Hurricane trade, and I didn't, and that's on me really, as much as it's on ECR. AIM is a casino in a jungle, so we just need to know when to swing from one rampy company with its dodgy BOD to the next one, and be prepared to take more than the occasional fall and bs on the way. I will listen to the interview, but did they say anything about Hurricane? As I recall, they had to exercise the option on it by September. If they have gotten rid of AH, will he be looking to take Hurricane with him, or is it safely in ECR's hands now?

ECR owes me some money! Lost two in a row now on it now, but the second loss was totally my fault as I didn't take profits when they were there - a criminal act on AIM.

Will now see where it settles and what their plans are before deciding to go for third time lucky!
