They surely have to announce shows - IF they have encountered them (and ideally the %). Otherwise the market will infer 'no shows' and that will result in a s h i t show for the share price. All imo

It does seem to be getting worse on AIM - maybe desperate market conditions have made such practices more common place. And to think the push is for less regulation on LSE, to make it more competitive!

That's the added risk with He1, will they play results with a straight bat? Imo, they haven't in the past, and so will the leopard change its spots when it comes to its most important RNS ever?

WSBN - expecting first results in about 4 weeks, and with a rising POG, it might be a good one to size up in.

KAV - started to move, needs more volume, but literally days away from starting to drill for gold with their own recently acquired Rig.

I would have thought that if they have encountered Helium, they will want to at least mention this in the first RNS? They will know that failure to mention it will illicit a negative market reaction. So I am expecting them to mention shows but with the usual caveat that final and more definitive results will follow. But that's just my expectation.

I really don't think there is any reason to question or throw doubt on the comms. If they had any insurmountable problems with the hole, they would have just told us. They would NOT have tweeted x 2 to say that they ARE approaching TD. They do appear to have been going slower than anticipated, but whatever the reasons for this, they have made clear in both tweets that they are still drilling.

The main thing is that they reach TD and complete the well, which is what they have said they are doing. If they report a positive outcome, then no one will care one jot that the drill took a week longer than expected.

We should be getting TD confirmation early next week. I also don't think they will tweet this, unless its going to take them time to prepare the TD RNS, in which case they might tweet. Who knows - does it really matter?

So I don't think we need to worry about the drill itself, just the drilling results - which has always been the case. The first of those results should arrive early next week. All imo and GLA

Would Noble be expecting to encounter Helium on their way down to TD? If so, it is entirely possible that we could get a Noble Helium show being reported before any RNS from He1? That could put the cat amongst the pigeons?

Joe - even I’m a bit surprised reading that. They are/were never going to RNS as soon as they reach TD, whether that’s today or on Sunday. They might need at least a day to work out the content of the RNS?

Understood Joe - I guess the share price action has also not really supported being in for results (and taking the risk on the delay) rather than entering on results. But of course, that could easily change.

Joe - out of curiosity, why did you exit so close to results?

Joe (and I am no expert), a NT can signal buying pressure or selling pressure in the direction you are trying to execute. I'm not sure how reliable it is during these kinds of 'quieter periods'.

Overall, I'd say the chart is looking neutral to negative right now. If you read tea leaves, then you might be able to spot the bearish pattern that has been emerging. I won't name it as these things are subject and to see if other TAs can see it. Needs a strong final hour to avoid its confirmation. All imo and dyor

Okay let me try to approach the same point in a slightly different way. We know they are advancing towards TD, so what insurmountable/irredeemable negative explanation does this leave?

As a non engineer and ignoramus when it comes to drilling (and some on here would say more generally), I guess I try to approach this speculation from more of a lay person's logic in terms of how useful it is:

If the truth is that there are positive, neutral and negative explanations for why the drill is taking longer than anticipated, and each of these explanations is as likely/plausible as the others, then it seems to me that we just go around in the same circles speculating positive or negative, until we get the actual RNS, or the share price reacts sharply (which might suggest a pre RNS leak)?
