Why do we need a new announcement? Isn't it bullish enough for us to be told that they are on track to drill in July/August and for LB to repeat the existing plans to monetise any discovery. If she repeats the recent presentation she gave at the African Summit and looks similarly excited by the prospect of making a discovery, that will be good enough for me, without needing any mention of a JV.

We know the JV will likely follow anyway if or after they declare a commercial find at Itumbula. All imo and dyor

That's one of the reasons I try to zoom out and look at the more global chart patterns and price action. To try to decipher what MM manipulation is going on at a more micro level is not something I have am skilled in. I guess that's where day trader's have an edge over longer timeframe traders.

We had a strong close yesterday. Will we have another strong afternoon today and see the end of sub 1.5p?

If MM know there will be a scramble for shares tomorrow (due to a very bullish presentation from LB), then makes sense for this to close strongly and for any scramble tomorrow. GLA

Although we all occasionally share tips and thoughts on individual shares, I think we all have different strategies and approach to actually trading those shares. Some of us are more day traders, and others swing or position traders. As long as we each stick our strategies and those work for us, it's all good, but we probably can't take buy or sell input from each other.

I've not sold a bean with HE1, as I still think it has more up legs to come. This is only the first leg up following the placing (or arguably the second leg if you count the initial placing rise?). So it's become more a position trade for me.

That's my understanding as well, we already have the flow rate, and the EWTs will be used to evaluate the productivity and other characteristics of the reservoir(s). You can read about them on the SLB website - I think they are doing the EWTs for HE1?

Sometimes these events are done simply to talk about the project and future plans. It's all about keeping the market interested in the company. They don't always contain new information, and are rarely used to make announcements.

Lots of companies do them when they get closer to key operational activity. MATD are doing one tomorrow as well (having also recently placed and also about to go into key operational activity). Expect HEX to do them when they finalise their drilling plans and approach spud.

Price action is super strong on HE1. This was the first move up and produced a 200% rise. Even after such a huge rise, it's barely and only briefly pulled back. That is super strong stock performance, whichever way you try to square it.

The second leg up is usually one of the strongest. That's the one we are about to enter, once we take out 1.5p.

This will continue to go crazy for the rest of the week and this month. There's too much power, interest, activity and volume for it to do otherwise, and it's on the verge of making and announcing transformational discoveries. GLA

This is a key level. Once it's definitively taken out (as it eventually will), it will form a strong support level. Another strong floor from which to load up or add.

It WILL be a cracking presentation tomorrow and within 4-6 weeks of it, we could be announcing new Helium discoveries in the basement play. GLA

For those of us expecting this to go much higher, the fact that this is consolidating after a 200% rise is a really strong sign. There is clearly buying demand in the 1.35p to 1.45p range. This gives us a floor and another opportunity to load up for the next leg up, which will take us into the 2s.

We have the biggest single operational activity in HE1's history coming up here, and you can be sure that the herd has not gone away. So this is an opportunity to add and make even more money from the next leg up. All imo and GLA

We don't need a RNS. We already know what the plans are. The RNS is only needed if they have something new to tell us (in which case you would expect a RNS), or if they have a spud date. It is perfectly normal to have media events and comms in the run up to a big operational event. If people want to imagine up reasons beyond this for why there is an investor event tomorrow, that is up to them. As far as the rest of us are concerned, we have already been told what the news is here, which is drilling in July/August, followed by EWT.

I think when you get a big Resistance level, you often see the unusual volatility and spread. If MM have large sell orders at these levels, or know there will be lots of selling, I would expect them to manoeuvre the bid/ask in accordance with the trading activity, and to suit there interests. Also after a 200% rise, the share price needs a reset.

Nothing goes up in a straight line. There will always be profit taking and tree shakes. They can present great opportunities to add if you believe the share price is going north and/or wish to hold for a commercial discovery.

We saw this yesterday, and have seen it many times before. With a stock as heavily traded as this, you will get all sorts of accounts posting all sorts of stuff. Need to keep a cool head, keep to your own strategy and act accordingly.

I fully expect LB to put a fine performance tomorrow and get the market going again. Her recent interviews, including the African Summit one (that was linked on here yesterday), show that she is feeling very optimistic about what's coming up here and it shows in her presentation. Therefore, I'm expecting a bullish event tomorrow, giving us a strong close to the week.

Remember, they are going to announce more Helium discoveries by drilling the basement, even before they get to the EWT. Imagine what a Helium concentration of 6% or 8% or even 10% will do to the share price?

So you can play the share price, or you can play the big news event (and knowing that the share price will take care of itself). I know what I'm going to do. GLA

Maybe but demand is still very strong at this level and we are back at pre placing levels. Even then, this was being held back because folk were expecting a placing. Now the shackles are off and this has every chance of doing 50-100% rise from here.
