It is becoming increasingly difficult to comprehend how BG ever gave a May timescale here. How could he not have known or have anticipated that there were matters that still needed finalising, that it was a complex transaction, and that it needed regulatory approvals, all of which would inevitably take months, not weeks. Did he not speak to LC before giving that timescale to the market?

I'll listen to the presentation carefully, and see if that gives me more inclination to stick or twist. Could do both by selling half now and averaging down if the news is bad, or chasing if the news is good.

Well it might be that there's just about enough in the budget to squeeze out a modest drilling campaign at Pepas and then raise at higher prices. But I accept that it's not looking great. The problem with any fund raise is the punishing discounts that AIM juniors are having to offer. Realistically, he would need to raise at sub 3p to get a decent sum out of the city boys. And needs to raise a decent sum, so that OMI does not have to worry about another fund raise in 6 months' time. Ideally want a cash position that lasts at least a year and gives you at least 2-3 drilling campaigns, so that there is the prospect of share price increases and less dilution.

Poised to breakout from a large trading range pattern and so a quick swing trading opportunity? What is driving it is NICE recommendation for its genetic test to be published on 31 July. Near term target of 2.5p and then a blue sky gap fill target of 3.2p. I would expect it to hit the first target at least before the news is out, and then if positive, the second target in response to the news.

Looking poised to breakout of this large trading range, as price is making higher highs to the top of it. I would say is 2.5p is next stop if we do breakout, and then we have a rather juicy looking gap fill to 3.2p. Hopefully in the run up to what looks like inevitable NICE news coming up here by the end of the month. GLA

DR R - has he said anything about the finances and whether OMI is fully funded for Pepas? That's the key concern regarding the delay, which is whether it brings a placing into a play before OMI can drill.

Looks like a reversal is in play. Wouldn't be surprised if we reverse ALL of yesterday's drop by close of play tomorrow, which puts us back into the 1.4s.

Demonstrates just what a mickey take yesterday was - probably an opportunity for insiders to have a quick short and then load up. Anyway, it's done and we can look forward to seeing whether or not we better this 4.7% Helium discovery in the fractured basement plays. GLA

Bounced off the 1.05p level a few times now. Looks like we might have consolidation around 1.05 to 1.10p level, and can then build from here hopefully after the drama of yesterday's orchestrated fall. GLA
