imagine how many invested in their books a few years ago. ..but thst was blatant..haha Yes PC terminology. Critical. Have look at some share thst collapsed like after or carrilion fleccy. Now check out releases in the two years prior. Bet you find positivities to invest in. But not legally obliging terminology or even stocks like lloyds in 2006 etc
sending poker a link in September. Click on it and you will analysis in full. Charts and pokerchip style. Just a privaprivate chat group. Nothing fancy. But only the best in it. Most have done it professionally. One still does . Tell you how good our group are. There are pros wanting access. No chance.. .let them do the hard yards like we all had to.
represents them anyway. Classic timing example. If you bought these in 1997, it yook 18 years for your capital to return to breakeven. The div return on the ftse faemr exceeded by future cash value. Any share same. Yes poker can put it in context. I'm only able to do it in front of a screen I'm afraid. Which is of little use here.
i uswd to hold fleccy...and did ok . But there was one simple golden rule 'don't hold a failing SP' pretty simple.. ..time in...... And as long as the SP is above your purchase price, collect div. When back to purchase price, exit...risk off. Find another. Make income yield a true return. It's not hard to grasp...you can't make predictions years into the future about holdings. Nobody can. VOD could be 400p or 50p in 2021. Neither price a surprise. Normalised I'm the route to there. In a failing SP? giving with one hand and taking with the other. An Indian giver share. Let's say your in a nett position of 20% in five years. I dont care.. .the downtime suffered was ridiculous when you had say crude above 61.35 pb and miners in the optimal range of commodity prices for decisions etc. I'm not trying to complicate here. Simply saying...an income share should never be allowed under your purchase price . Risk dramatically increased. And this is key....the dividend microscope.. .always on the high yielders . One of the many reasons not to hold a share below purchase price.. .any market Been near decade bull with qe and cheap money etc....pretty unique. And its rescued many a poor holding.. but it's approaching end now. Forget retsil. I've seen funds doggedly hold high yielders and go bust in the long run. An element of luck is required when holding years (into the unknown) So take luck out of the equation.. .protect capital.. .never let it run red... And if you time it well, you can probably hold years, collect div and no risk to Capital.. exit point the purchase point.. Albeit after an extended market run, if the share price is also yielding 20-30%, probably smarter to take thst out too at some stage
Surely even this share will do some sort of SP run to Wednesday.. .retail buyers if nothing else. How much will the run be ? 0.5p to 1.2p? if comes But here is the million dollar question in the flat bed...will the adjustment exceed the yield?
meaning the very long term trend . Since the beginning of 2018 obviously the medium term trend is up. However, one has to decide, if the medium term trend is change, or simply a retrace in the long term bear trend Everything (to me) suggests its the end of a retrace in the long-term bear. The start of july was a big test into deciding.. .
jayfax, freya is well able to take a laugh and even moreso, dish it out. But you, you come on here trying to argue with others that actually are intelligent, make you look foolish and then you come back for more Why?????
Go easy on JF...when somebody is up on a Sunday morning policing a bb without pay, there is some underlying issue...hope it works out JF. Maybe if you bring the issue 'out of the closet" life will be better...
like our history votw no for Lisbon treaty..byt it became a yes..classic eu democracy i remember it well...the media fear project...lenihan and co all telling us we would become third world if voted no again...it was worse than the Cameron project.. .
