Enlighten us all with your superior wisdom please @Mrninjaz???
The other positive is tat this is the 2nd RNS without TB being mentioned. I wonder what is happening in the boardroom?
@demo reusable face masks are a completely different product used in complete different environments. P2F masks are clinically certified for use in a medical setting I.e. frontline healthcare workers. Reusable masks will never be used in this environment, they will be used by Joe Public if they want to fork out for them. Nice subtle deramp by the way mate ;-)
Great find Jarv! Hopefully it’s only a matter of time before he does one!
Dam auto correct!!! *Quiet!
Hoping I don’t tempt fate but it’s very quiet on here considering the drop in the SP yesterday. I was planning on giving the BB a wide birth over the weekend as I was expecting the usual suspects bombarding us with their usual drivel, even SuperPooperTrooperParty is bearable today. May be they can see the potential in this at last? Patience and time will tell.
Have a good weekend guys... back to the decorating for me, anyone would think we’ve got the Royal family coming for Christmas lunch haha!
@1509 that’s my view based on my experience in the industry I am in. I may be wrong, I don’t see it as an issue, a very small delay at the most, as it gives the masks a rubber stamp and proves they are gold standard and superior to other medical masks on the market.
@Torre I agree with you on that one. I think there will be some batch testing required from the new machine and from Volz to ensure compliance with the ISO and EN standard and that the manufacturing process no is repeatable. That’s the normal process from my experience and should be just a formality and shouldn’t take long to complete.
@1509 the masks look like they have ISO and EN certification. Proof of conformity to the EN and ISO standards would be required by a CE registered body to apply the mark. This applies to any product that meets European standards regardless of where it is made, as long as it meets EN standards.
Brexit won’t change this as the UK will still manufacture products to EN standards, most of the current EN standards in place derived from our British Standards all those years ago, British was the best back then.
For any of you who are unfamiliar of the process to gain a CE mark look at the link below. As I explained earlier it is a bureaucratic process to demonstrate compliance with the relevant standards and the product is safe.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/CE_marking
In my experience in my industry (electricity) once a product has been tested to an EN, IEC and/or an ISO standard the CE mark is just a formality. We routinely batch test any new equipment bought to an EN or IEC standard so it might be the same case with P2F masks where a few are initially sent off from each batch/machine to be tested from prove conformance with the applicable standard.
CE marking is more of a demonstration of conformance to a raft of other standards, typical European bureaucracy, but maintains high standards of equipment supplied.
Well that’s my opinion anyway
@steady they may have commissioned Volz to manufacture then masks for P2F to sell, not Volz to sell under their brand.
Yawn! @Jodrell keep going mate I could do with an early night
@bonesgt I quite like the smell lol
@JoanRo read the message thread!
Great find Lotto! I’d like to see TB try and release an RNS announcing the appointment and try a d put a negative spin on that lol! GLA
Oocanibe do some research and you will find out where the patented nanoparticle material Is made and how it is supplied. FYI it is supplied on rolls about a meter wide and as long as you want.
PooperParty this was drafted before P2F masks were developed. FFFP2 and 3 masks were the only mask with proven protection, however they do not have proven viral killing protection. P2F masks will prevent any cross contamination when taking the mask on and off
P2F masks will be the go to mask for all frontline personnel for the future, yes some other versions will come on the market but hopefully we will be the first to market in the healthcare setting. Not ramping but this has massive potential!
