No public plans for use of cash, but I'm sure it's in the works.

Like many UK stocks, Trufin's price is baffling.

Balatro's steam revenue has grossed $40m, Ambiotic Factor has grossed $14m alone in 2024 - assuming other games also generated some revenue at least, it isn't discounted appropriately.

Agree completely, also I'm struggling to buy - which suggests selling pressure it's really there. Market makers at it as usual...

Balatro has sold over five million copies across all platforms, PocketGamer.biz can reveal.

Harvey Elliott, CEO of the game's publisher Playstack, announced the milestone during his session at Pocket Gamer Connects London titled: “Playing The Long Game – Lessons From Balatro For Maximising Success".

“Selling five million units of any game is an incredible milestone worthy of celebration," said Elliott. “To achieve it less than a year from launch, with a game made by a solo developer is even more special.

“I am incredibly proud of the developer, LocalThunk, and the whole Playstack team who have rallied around the game to ensure it continues to go from strength to strength."

Balatro downloads continuing a pace, 15k a day past few days.

Showing no signs of letting up, might require another trading update soon...

Seems like a sell the news event. Surprising though considering these results are seriously impressive. I'm sure the once the weak hands are shaken out we'll head higher.

Balatro just passed 500,000 downloads on Android, downloads are increasing in velocity too, with about 13,000 a day over the holidays it looks like based on appbrain stats.

Assuming Apple Store downloads and steam are similar...

I can't see how this won't happen based on previous updates and stats. Balatro download stats are going up rather than plateauing...

... as evidenced by stocks like Trufin.

Clearly doing very well at the moment and likely to smash annual results, probably will do a trading update before then anyway you'd expect based on Balatro's performance alone (not even considering other Playstack games and Oxygen Finance profits).

Drifting lowering for no reason but general malaise in the UK markets.

Balatro has averaged 12,000 downloads a day on Android since the awards last week.

To put that in perspective, it's previous record was about 8.5k downloads set when it launched on mobile back in September.

Assuming it's consistent with IoS and Steam, that's probably £240k per day from Apps, probably £100-200k on steam.

Certainly will require another trading update if this persists...
