Look at GreenX (ASX:GRX) (AIM:GRX), a “lookalike” for PAT IMO. It kicked from 11 cents per share to 31 cents per share on the announcement of its unconditional agreement with LCM. Its later arbitral hearing is complete for a potential award of AUD1.3billion. GreenX current share price is AUD0.98 cents per share. In that SP the markets have factored in the risk of an award NOT going GRX’s way. However, the “street talk” all points to GRX’s case being upheld. For how much, no one knows just yet.

Sebo10. I appreciate your concern about the constant delays, but I still remain convinced the LCM deal will be sealed. If it never is I will apologise profusely and expect the same from you if you're wrong.

That's a great pity mickey1122 to filter me, because you might eventually learn something that will change your mind. I certainly was critical of what was occuring for some time previous, but after a lot of research decided that PAT were worth following. I think I will be proven correct and nay-sayers wrong. I once was one.

I'm writing from experience. Due dilgence is often plagued with little niggling matters. They get sorted eventually. That will happen with LCM. Negotiations with recalcitrant Govt bodies are a different matter. They require a threat of substantial and justifiable reparations for the Govt's illegal actions. Only then will the Govt take notice.

Rest assured, NelsontheDog, there never will be a potential deal with the Govt until such time as a claim under the BIT is registered. Even then, and until an Arbitral Award is made, will the Raj Govt consider a negotiated sttlement.

Family and friends are already invested. Don't worry about that.

I can assure you that MB is only focussing on getting the FIT approved. Forget JVs and Raj Govt negotiations.

I wrote in a previous share chat, “WEAPONISING THE BIT”, that I was of the view, while not discounting other avenues of settling the dispute, such as deals with potential partners and/or governments or a resolution at the High Court, were unlikely. I suggested that using the BIT was the way forward. I am still convinced of that, despite the continued delays. Watch this space!

The "Wet Season" in West Africa is the very devil. Always causing disruption to drill programmes. It'll happen when it happens.

The funding agreement with LCM is about to be confirmed. It is a major achievement by PAT, considering LCM’s outstanding track record in the BIT space. Over time this has the potential to have a major upward influence on value. I don’t wish to discount other avenues, but IMO deals with potential partners and/or governments are secondary now. This also applies to the High Court case. All focus should be on presenting the formal claim and valuation to the Govt of India. This will be a very large USD number!
