Ubiquity Software started the year with a profits warning but has made up the ground and produced strong growth fuelled by some high profile wins including BT and Global Crossing. Ubiquity (UBQ), which floated in March 2005 and is backed by Newbridge Networks found Sir Terry Matthews, provides the underlying software platform, known as a SIP A/S (Session Initiation Protocol Application Server), on which telecoms carriers can build the new generation of voice and data services that they intend to offer on the next generation networks that they are building. In March the company was selected by BT to provide the SIP application server for BT’s new 21st Century Network. The company was also selected by US telco Global Crossing as its preferred supplier in a multi-year, multi-million dollar deal. For the six months to June revenue grew by a healthy 73% to £6.1 million, with software licence revenue more than doubling to £5.4 million. Operating losses were flat at £4.4 million and net losses fell to £3.7 million from £4.2 million. The company had cash of £10 million at the end of June, down from £20 million last year. Chief executive Ian McLaren told Citywire that he was ‘very excited’ about the strong first half results, which showed a ‘healthy jump’ as the industry has moved forward and starting deploying these new IP applications such as voice and video over their telecoms networks.
This one seems way undervalued to me ,yes they have spent a little to much on R&D but the general numbers are good. Im staying and will top up at these levels. Look at the chart from 12 months ago and results are now better.
Well ive read up on this one and have jumped in ready for tomorrows results. Ticked up nicely straight after .
ERX seem to be doing a job on keeping their interests in this quiet. ERX are in Collaberation with Saream. This is what Sauream have to say.31/9/06 Sareum Announces Progress in Cancer Drug Discovery Collaboration Sareum Holdings plc (AIM: SAR), the specialist structure-based drug discovery business, is pleased to announce that substantial progress has been made in its joint cancer drug discovery collaboration with The Institute of Cancer Research (The Institute), Europe's leading cancer research centre, and Cancer Research Technology Limited (CRT), the oncology-focused development and commercialisation company. Sareum, The Institute and CRT have discovered novel compound series which show efficacy in cancer cell models. The collaboration, which was announced in July 2005, has discovered several novel compound series that target a specific enzyme in a key biochemical pathway, responsible for preventing the effectiveness of traditional cancer therapeutics such as chemotherapy. In the collaboration the team is now working to fully optimise a leading series of compounds to provide a validated candidate to take forward into clinical development. The new cancer therapeutics developed will potentially allow effective treatment of tumours which currently do not respond to current treatments as well as lowering the dose required of existing therapies to reduce adverse side effects. Sareum has used its expertise in structure-based drug discovery to identify novel

The gasoline substitute emerged as a grass-roots investment movement last year, with farmers raiding their savings to build plants that convert corn into the renewable fuel. Now mutual-fund managers and well-heeled investors are grasping for any stock with the slimmest connection to ethanol. With soaring gasoline prices, the spot price of ethanol - an alcohol-based alternative fuel that is blended with gasoline - has doubled over the past 12 months to about $2.65 a gallon. The Bush administration has been plugging ethanol in recent months, saying it could help break America's crude-oil addiction. Adding to the froth, billionaire Bill Gates has become an ethanol booster. ''It looks like a rush to me,'' said Elif Acar, a credit analyst at Standard & Poor's, which rates the ethanol industry as ''speculative.'' ''I'm not sure the long-term prospects are being weighed,'' she said. U.S. ethanol makers are either small parts of sprawling companies, start-ups or private concerns. So investors are flocking to a few stocks, sending their prices soaring. So, where does an average stock picker get in, since everyone is elbowing for a narrow doorway? At the top of the heap is Archer-Daniels-Midland. Even though ethanol generates only abo
Thanks for that its cheeered me up a little. Lets just hope it does not take to long. Any ideas or knowledge
At 9p its capped at 10 million that is way low for a company that will be profitable this year has turnover over 120 million and has cash over 8 million as always (dyor) Outlook 2006/07 The group has now reached a very positive stage in its development in that all major core activity surrounding the merger of Millfield and Inter-Alliance is complete. Moving forward we will continue to focus all of our efforts in developing and growing the business; the main drivers of profitability are adviser numbers, productivity, gross margin and expenses. The group is now significantly larger than many of its competitors. As such it has greater resources to allocate to future technology investment and is well placed to accommodate further sector consolidation. The group's turnover is now annualising in excess of #120m and with the advent of pension simplification ("A" day) we are already experiencing increased levels of activity in this market sector, which we believe will continue throughout 2006 and beyond. The company will report an operating profit from the 3rd quarter 2005/6 onwards and there remains capacity to achieve further cost savings in the 1st quarter 2006/7. Millfield has its credibility as a stock boosted by the fact that Invesco Perpetual has a 21% stake in the company, all of it under the jurisdiction of Neil Woodford, its Citywire AAA-rated equity income fund manager. Woodford has been a long-term supporter of Millfield and, in a small
This has to be my worse decision ever although ERX runs it close . I bought in at 11 p ,can anyone offer me any crumbs of comfort as for a WAY OUT.

http://www.whotv.com/Global/story.asp?S=4758323&nav=2HAB Senate approves ethanol incentives DES MOINES, Iowa The Senate has approved a bill that would require 25 percent of Iowa's fuel be renewable, and offer incentives for retailers to help the cause. The measure was passed 49-1 today and will return to the House where a similar bill has already won approval. Most lawmakers say they expect a version of the measure to pass. The bill would require 10 percent of Iowa's fuel be renewable by 2010, and 25 percent be renewable by 2020. It gives retailers a tax credit that's linked to their success in meeting the standards. A separate proposal would offer four (m) million dollars in grants to help retailers install the renewable fuel tanks. Critics have said more than 70 percent of the gasoline sold in Iowa is mixed with ethanol and such a mandate would not significantly increase use. Backers are focusing on seeking to expand the use of the heavier, 85 percent mix of ethanol-blended gasoline. Only a few dozen retailers in the state offer that fuel. Copyright 2006 Associated Press. GtL expect their instalation to be up and running by Nov,Dec of this year. The American government are are even now offering incentives to ethanol producers. Certain are stating as law that etheanol must be used. It is obviously a commodity of the future . Buy your shares ,put them away and come back in 3 years and see how rich you are.
In all y years of sharedealing i dont think i have ever been so excited about a share. I just cannot see any negatives with this one . I really think this time next year we will be sitting on a 100 bagger. Strong views i know but who would argue with this?
I noticed the 1 share clicked through mid-afternoon which again highlighted me to the fact a million buy would go through as a late broker deal. There it was lol.
