Rainbow Rare Earths Phalaborwa project shaping up to be one of the lowest cost producers globally. Watch the video here.
Sheltie I bet the 4 year wait between 1914-1918 felt longer
Can’t believe how patient we long term holders have had to be here, everything has taken 2/3 times longer than initially suggested and then consistently amounted to nothing. In another week it will be 3 months doing the prep work at c37..it’s just too long ! Even when I’ve get direct info it’s always ended up being inaccurate...anyway onwards and upwards surely we have to produce something of note soon
Beggars the question why don’t the bod complain about this obvious control/abuse of sp?
This business is worth what ast paid for it ..next to nothing, they can go and pick up another (probably bigger asset) in Croatia for next to nothing and have another go there..it’s why there are and have been historically so many aim companies in this sector, these sorts of field are available all over the place for peanuts, the reason they’re given away for peanuts is they’re incredibly hard to make commercially viable, as ast have categorically proven
As I said months ago these fields are given away for nothing all over the globe because they’re so hard to make work commercially as ast have comprehensively proved...looks like they’ll try and get another free field over in Croatia to keep themselves in a job for another couple of years
Can I ask are people expecting a partnership deal where we receive an upfront payment from said partner? I’m not, I’m expecting a deal where partner distributes Iclaprim and we give them a % of revenue for their time /efforts...and therefore I think approval and sale is the right strategy for a business this size.., everyone can win (maybe not to the extent once thought possible) be pleased with their efforts and let a bigger business take this to the next level over the coming years
smalltrader we were. 30% higher than this a day before phase 3 results, why do you think 40p on approval which everyone knows is almost guaranteed?Even partnership deal will be someone distributing for us and taking a % of sales. We must look for approval and exit
Is totally ridiculous 11weeks from approval at the moment I’d be happy to see 30p on Feb 13th!!
I really think we should now just get approved and sell for the best possible price...That would end all the uncertainty!
Sheltie In light of your points (which I agree with) why wouldn’t the bod look to get us approved and sell for the best possible deal? Even a $250-300m buyout allows bod’s and shareholders to be satisfied with end outcome and we can all move on !
Mud slightly worrying if you turn out to be correct in that the 180 isn’t big enough to do the job at c-37 as it would just highlight (yet again) the lack of precise/correct decision making we’ve become all to familiar with !
Mud to be honest the 260 is for next year and not really significant in our short term horizon. We have about 200 days (unless AC get’s an extension from Socar) to get up to 465 bopd. It’s been rns’d that the 180 rig is going to work on c37 then z21 and z28 . We can’t afford to wait another month for it. It needs to arrive sharpish and get this damn oil out
if they do happen to be struggling to get the right partnership deal in place I think they will look for a takeover post approval at the best possible price, and walk away pleased with what they achieved
