T's interesting. Does anyone know when a share price shoots up?
I'd held RR for nearly 2 years and sold it off for a very good profit (still a profit). But a few months after I sold, it doubled and then tripled.
I read and reread many forums. All that time, people kept saying it would double, but no one said it would triple.
Is it just that some people get lucky, or do people know something?
Can Barclays (Barc) hit 250 / 275 / 300 / 325? We'd need a magic crystal ball for that
I've been averaging at £1.35 for nearly a year now. I'm hesitant to buy more to average down, fearing the price might drop below £1. While I understand investing in stocks involves guesswork and luck, do you think there's a chance for it to approach £2? I've checked forecasts from reputable sources like the FT, but they seem unreliable. What's your take on this?
Like many others, I was hoping to secure some profits, perhaps around £2 or £2.20. However, the price has dropped from £1.94 back to £1.82. It seems to be reversing. Is this just a temporary dip, or are we headed back down? Call me greedy or an idiot; I don't mind.
Honestly, it's tough to write this. Over the past five years, I've seen a lot about Barclays. Despite optimistic predictions, the price hasn't risen much from where it is now. Do some people know more than others, or are they just talking? Similar things happened with other stocks I've had. What can I learn from this?

I'm really happy to see you making a profit, and particularly making your partner happy in the process. How did you arrive at the conclusion that entering at 13x.xx was good enough and exiting at 10% was the right decision? I would love to hear about the thought process, especially when you bought 100k.
sorry, i am ****ed off.
barclays downgraded apple.
some investor group downgraded barclays - they all clean up each other asses.
but yet wrote up a high estimate of £2.90.
do they just smoke something or are they high on something?
this piece of ****t goes up and down for no reason related to the bank's performance.
can someone please help me understand, if you can?
would we ever see this close to £2.90 then why .. just why ...

worst than day dreaming.
Last year, I bought RR for 94p and held it for a year. It eventually went down to 75p, despite the many promises, and I considered holding on until it reached 140p or more. However, I sold half of my shares at 96p and held on to the rest until it reached 112p. Just as I sold it, the stock price suddenly rose to 150p. I am puzzled if others knew about the impending spike or if the analysts' target prices were reliable. I find their low and high projections for a stock's value meaningless. For instance, if a stock is priced at 100p today, they will say its low is 50p and its high is 150p, which offers little guidance to me.
I'm curious, what do other investors do? Do they have a profit percentage in mind, such as 25%, 30%, or 50%, before selling their shares? How do they anticipate the stock's rise, if not by blindly holding on to their shares?
Just Curious to understand the current and future predictions.
Sorry for the negative tone but all I hear is noise and no change in the price rather fell over 3 % ?
Thought it will shoot up this week but.
When is the outcome of takeover negotiations expected?
