Doesn't it get boring stating a dropped price is 'a great opportunity'?21 Aug 2023 09:22
Presumably, if the price fell further that'd be another 'opportunity'?
but averaging down costs. who wants to see an sp falling istead of rising, with the perverse belief that that provides an 'opportunity'?
most people holding would infinitely prefer to be in the envious position of averaging up, not down. nothing worse that averaging down only to see the sp further fall, adding to the losses.
putting one's faith, long term, in a share in a owrld of volatility and expecting shares to 'always bounce' in september isn't exactly borned out across the board.
expectatons are pinned on Sept1 now so i guess folk will see if that manifests or whether there's be another 'opportunity' to buy lower.
don't forget, the placing for the acquisition is going to need a near bagging to be revisited!
