Amazing how folk defend thier bad choices and woulrd ather lose all than a little.4 Aug 2024 14:23
Been querying the Semnet deal since its rns or, at least, how a company jumps from $5mill annual turnover to $36mill in a single unverifiable contract. the fact it arend $200k profit, PRE TAX, make me wonder why pay such an open-ended amount for something noone here has any personal knowledge of, nor why it just happens to be connected to a spouse, holding shares still is... just... a bit... coincidental?!?!
folk would rather make up the missing parts to supprt their beliefs than be pragmatic and take out some funds. i guess that's because, having lost 50% since the placing the desire to 'get it back first', a bit like a roulett player with his winning system, feels it'll turn good. 'course, that's what people were saying at 1.23 when the placing for the 'acquisiton' happened.
at this point, even averaging down is dodgy as, if the price IS to fall, you're just adding to your paper losses and, at some point, that will have to be realised, one way or another.
and, as far as i can tell, the Easysend deal is laughably unrealised. in fact, investors here would make more moey ie Easysen were just to IPO. people just don't question the value of such an asset, except that it'd be great for GST. if it'll be that transformational, then what price? Same with Semnet, if they're suddenly so increadibl with contracts, why so cheap?
