Just managed to order 7 tests online from the Gov site. So they are available again. Wondering what brand they will be!

Not seen any contracts updated recently, where are we going to get tests from?

Will we now have to buy our unreliable Chinese tests when we come into contact with a positive case and test everyday?!

I really can't see too many of us doing that, what strange times we are living in.

AU, there clearly is still a requirement for free tests, me for a start! Also many required for entry into specific events, I assumed free Gov tests would do for these with private tests only required for flights.

Just surprised I couldn't get any tonight and genuinely interested if it was really a 'local' problem which is odd as the postal service is national?

And yes I'd love to get some from Alva :)

Here in Wellingborough it's circa 800 per 100,000 but actually feels worse than that with lots of friend infected. Haven't heard of any repeat cases, that would be a real worry.

I agree there will be some bailing at just over a pound.

But if we get either eua or government contract we probably get both. That's an awful lot of tests and profit even at a modest margin to only result in a pound value.

Last year there was talk of 2m tests a week resulting in £5 plus.

I'm not an expert but the valuations looked pretty solid.

I guess we can only wait and see

We've got them all. I don't know about 90% entertainment, I've got 50% filtered.

We get eu home use, then we get uk full contract, then we get fda approval. We get a bit of AbC19 (remember that) plus food detective and HIV contracts. Sales and profits help scale up to 5m tests a week. Equipment and staff recruitment and training funded by HMG.

Directors buy back in, tests save lives and we all get to make a hard won profit.
