Serendipidity - Agreed it would be good practice... But this is new. This share has been a rollercoaster, it's bounced up and down like this many many times before, without news and without an RNS..... So I query why the Bod would react to this bounce in particular?
Anyone know if the Bod were legally required to address the market with an RNS? Just because the share rose ?
They haven't displayed concerns about value fluctuation/s before.
Could someone have been shorting, didn't like the gap and panicked?
Or could there be ii's waiting for an agreed entry point - so the Bod need the price to remain low?
Why else would the Bod have addressed the recent rise or given it a second thought, when they cannot be held accountable for it's rise/decline.
Any other views on this?
Supposedly Sars-Cov 2 mutates frequently. So with new variants being detected world wide, practically every week, how effective will these treatments be in 3 or 6 months time? I suspect, as with the vaccine, not very
smorrisjones - many made the same assumption with Amigo
Would love to be as optimistic - but wouldn't be at all surprised to see a fall in price on the back of another positive RNS.....
Thank you Gruntie - Apologies I did mean corporation tax… clearly the gin and heat consumed over the weekend ;-)
So on funding raised from an RI, corporation tax would be applicable.. I’m just thinking with a green light from the FCA, Amigo would surely be able to source a financial backing that wouldn’t be as detrimental as an RI
Forgive my ignorance - but if funding is raised through an RI, won’t Amigo be liable for capital gains on the amount raised?
Just wondering/considering why a company would opt for an RI over Secured debt?
Isn’t an RI supposed to be a last resort?
Paul - seems more like a childish/snide/smug remark imo…. Why on earth would you otherwise be sorry little has changed?
@Expru2000 - I’m certain several thousand families whom have lost loved ones to Covid (that were double jabbed) would soon let you know what the fuss was about. RIP Carlos Marin. None the less, happy you pulled through
For personal consumption
We know FCA will never condone any scheme.
We know a judge WILL sanction a scheme, providing majority benefit/favour and insolvency is proved as the only alternative.
Taking the above on board - we have indeed, an incredibly positive RNS
Agreed Waynesmith,
Anyone on this BB able to shed light on what could be occurring with the repetitive onslaught of 5k, 6k, 7k buys/sells?
Does appear peculiar
Missed the boat???? MY 4RSE!!
