Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
I came here for Greenland years ago, stayed for Sonora & recall the days when Lenigas pumped REM up & the chat was all about the £5 party - I was in healthy profit... naively held for more, REM became KDNC, etc, etc, & here I still am -80% on a £15k investment. One day Rodney...
Exactly... wake up me back up when it's north of £1.00.
I currently hold 400k shares at 4.93p average. Exit target is min. 20p/share by end of 2025. Assuming the Maxwell legal case outcome is favorable I see no reason why CPX SP can't exceed its highs of around £0.13/share 3 years ago. I'm also prepared for it all to potentially go ti ts up. The world seems quite unpredictable at the moment. GLA.
Hang on in there.
I’d be happy with £0.20…my original target was £0.15 from an average of £0.05. Should be a fun few weeks ahead. GLA.
Agreed - UK Gvmnt is asleep at the wheel. Gave Stellantis ££££££££ a few years back to pledge to convert the Ellesmere Port Vauxhall car plant to Electric Powertrain. Brexit agreement trade rules mean that this may well not happen... Boris has no plan, Liz threw in a hand-grenade, you'd almost be tempted to think it was all deliberate. ;-)
…EMH could be the gift that keeps on giving. Got involved a while back (I’m a long term REMMIE). Average is £0.55… holding for £5 plus after 2025. Realistic?
Did I just hear ‘offtakes agreed with 3rd parties for lithium (Geothermal brine)’?
Hard and fast.... ''it's not green until it's green for all''
By 2025...
All brands will offer 100% battery powered options for most (if not all) models.
Ambitions to dominate the commercial (and RV) EV segment globally
Hints about an EV technology that will dispel customer range anxiety
''Vertical integration'' a key phrase from the opening statement. 5 GIGA factories. We need one in the UK to service the new all electric assembly line planned for Ellesmere Port where they will build Electric Combo vans - LEVs (Vauxhall, Opel, Peugeot & Citroen).
... who else is topping up?
... anyone else having any trouble today?
Agree... managed to buy £2k at 10.4... helped me average down a little.
Yep...back then I (REM) had 3 million shares (equiv) worth about £45k from memory... I was green and excited so I held and it all went t#ts up from there. But 2025 was always the exit window... if you think about all of the targets/regulations that are geared to 2030 (& if Trump stays out of the WH) we are on the path to a global low carbon economy with battery storage (lithium) being integral to making that happen. KDNC, BCN, EMH will all play their part. Why am I confident?
As an 18 year old in 1990 I was inspired by the Rio conference (yeah I know)
1994 graduated with a degree in environmental policy & sustainability
1997/8 worked on uk quango and Gvmnt programmes to promote EV and renewables (too soon)
1999 to 2007 acted as an environmental communications consultant for business and charities
2006 - still had not made any proper money. Owned a house with small mortgage.
2007 - sold everything as I had a hunch about sub prime (travelled Europe for 2 years in a caravan)
2010 - came back to the uk ( sold high, bought back in low) - got a job in the wine trade
2011/12 - invested in REM (Kdnc), EMH, CAP-X, AGM and VAST - avoided the brands (E.g. Tesla & Apple) but focused on the materials the brands would depend upon for long term success.
It’s not worked yet. All long holds...today I’m £5k under...but things are starting to move.
Apologies if I’m over sharing but I read this board daily (Torchy attracted me here (REM) way back for Greenland) and, while we all have different motives for investing & posting, I hope that we all make a sh*t load of money in the not too distant future.
Good luck all.
I came here (REM) for Greenland, stayed for Sonora, stayed longer for EMH (I also have a modest investment in EMH & that’s all seems to be coming together) and now I’m waiting for Amapa - 2025 exit.
Hoping for £1.50 (I know it’s not a plan) by April... but this is a long hold for me.
My thoughts exactly Mr.James. Bought into REM way back for Greenland. Staying in for BCN & EMH potential in 2022-25. It’s a punt.
Agree: REM / KDNC has always been a long term punt. Could have walked away with a tidy profit a few years back but opted to top slice & wait for the BIG payday. My average is £0.005 - can’t do nothing but sit & wait for the love to come back. Maybe we’ll all be smiling in 2022?
... this over the next 3-5 years. I promise you I’m not Li-on. ‘Taxi’
