RE: FTSE7 Sep 2018 18:10
The biggest risk factors I see for the stock market are...
1. The Global trade war drags on, eventually it changes the data and money starts exiting the stock market.
2. Investment dries up, and jobs are cut as a result.
3. People can't pay their mortgage and other debts. Homes repossessed, and default rates higher.
4. Lending criteria is tightened up causing another hit to investment, less jobs created and recessions across the West.
5. The extreme Right vs Left Wing politics escalates as people have lost their jobs.... it sounds unthinkable today, but Civil war is a possibility. I could write a few thousand words on why I think that is... but I won't bother. Take it or leave it I don't care.
6. If the Far Left & Globalists get something on Trump that's enough to impeach him, that in itself will be enough to hammer the markets.
Remember, no major crash happens in a straight line, there are many bounces on the way down, some lasting a day, some a few, some a few weeks.
