Nuclear subs are all about the enemy never know where all of our nuclear attack capability is at any given time. Yes one of our subs is currently out at sea at any given time, but where exactly our enemies never actually know.

Having a few Nuclear cruise missiles is not a sufficient deterrent. We need to be able to threaten a potential enemy with total annihilation or it might think it has a chance.

Having a Nuclear "deterrent" is not about being a military power on the world stage offensively. It's about preventing the need for a full blown war on our streets. Or even another Nuclear power using Nuclear weapons on us.

I do want to maintain our culture, the House of Lords is a tiny part of that. Sometimes they do good things like stopping the Tory's taking away child tax credits too quickly once.

Other times they try to circumvent the democratic will of the majority of our electorate. Then I think nah... they're not elected, yet they try to prevent a democratic result from being acted on properly.

Venezuela is a prime example of how finacially illiterate Marxist policies don't work... and after 5 years of Labour, no one will be able to escape that fact.

I guarantee you by the end of Labours next tenure, the cost of living is far higher and will have grown at a far faster rate than previous years. Unemployment and Benefits claimants will be far higher. The deficit will be back much bigger than the last time, the UK's credit rating will be downgraded, and a lot more immigrants will be here and have come in record numbers.

I didn't make that point for staying in the EU, I definitely want out. But that coupled with Corbyn is concerning, he's also Pro Palestine having posed for photos with various Islamic Terrorists too. That's another way we could fall out with the USA, as Corbyn's Anti-Semitism clashes with Israel a US allie.

Jeremy Corbyn has made no secret of his dislike for Trump. He said he wouldn't have invited him to the UK.

Whether or not you like Trump, he is currently President of the strongest Allie the UK has ever had. Putin probably wants Corbyn to take power, because a Corbyn led Government is guaranteed to fall out with Trump.

And when you fall out with Trump, you've falled out with America until Trump leaves office again. I voted to leave the EU, but I can recognise the Pro's and Con's. Outside of the EU, we would be on our own given the aforementioned.

Can you imagine if...

1. Corbyn alienated Trump and the USA turned it's back on the UK.
2. The UK having left the EU had no back up from the EU.
3. Corbyn removed the UK's Nuclear Deterrent Trident.

It would probably take about a week for Russia to invade and conquer the UK if they wanted to.

There have been 2 world wars in the last 100 years, but no World War for 70 years. It's no coincidence that Nuclear Weapons were developed shortly after WW2 in a big way.

They act as a deterrent, they give a smaller, weaker country the destructive power of a much larger more powerful country. And talking only goes so far, eventually the urge to attack us will be there. I'm sure Putin has already considered the implications of doing so.

Not that it would matter with Trident. Jeremy Corbyn said he would only use Trident after it had been put before parliament. So the enemy would have made a move on us by the time all that was done.

As we've seen with the Brexit vote, and we see with general elections. Democracy is an illusion in the UK. We have a binary choice, and millions of votes don't count for anything.

In business the only way to get prices lower and fairer for consumers is to increase the competition. Apply the same logic to politics through proportionate voting, and then we would have a true democracy.

What we have now is a monopoly with the Conservatives and Labour. But it won't always be a binary choice, it will be Labour only in the future. 85% of Muslims who vote in the general elections, vote Labour. Muslim is the fastest growing demographic in the UK through immigration and the fertility rate... the more there are the more votes for Labour over time.

The answer to the lack of Democracy has and always will be "Proportionate voting". If I vote in my area I know that it doesn't matter what I vote, Labour will win the seat.

There will be thousands in my constituency that didn't vote Labour, but because of the first past the post system that doesn't matter. With proportionate voting the entire number of votes for each party would be tallied up, and a proportionate number of seats awarded to each party based on their share of the vote.

UKIP once got over 4 Million votes, but only 1 seat in Parliament.
The SNP got less than that, but got 56 seats in Parliament.

That means that the majority of the people who voted for UKIP didn't see their vote count for anything. Parliament voted against proportionate voting, for the simple fact that "Turkey's don't vote for Christmas". They know that by making the voting system fair, many of them wouldn't have a seat.

The SNP lost 21 seats at the last general election. Sturgeon was calling for a second referendum on Independence before the vote.

Hopefully they continue to lose more. It's a statement of fact to say that if the Conservatives had not seen a resurgence in support in Scotland, Jeremy Corbyn would already be the Prime Minister. The Conservatives went from having only one seat in Scotland to having 13 seats. If this had not happened, even with The Conservatives doing a deal with the DUP, they wouldn't have had enough seats to form a government.

The Conservatives had an over 20 point lead over Labour when Theresa May took office... she has destroyed that and the Bookies now have Jeremy Corbyn as favourite to be the next Prime Minister.

Most of the Conservative MP's voted to Remain, despite 70% of Conservative voters, voting to leave. It's clear that the Remain supporting MP's of the Conservatives, voted for Theresa May to become leader as they knew she would try her best to water down the Brexit result that they did not agree with.

This, along with various other blunders such as the Social care reforms has backfired on them badly. And as painful as it is too see the very real prospect of Jeremy Corbyn and his band of Cultural Marxists taking power... The Conservatives only have themselves to blame.

I could easily see that happening. If the Conservatives are thought to be delivering a weak Brexit without immigration properly controlled, enough could jump ship to UKIP or not vote at all, leading to the loss of marginal seats the Tory's hold. If that then resulted in Labour having the most seats, but not enough to form a government then the SNP could be the party holding the cards.

Just need to hope the Scots will continue to vent their disapproval of a second referendum at the ballot box, because that's what happened the last times the SNP lost seats.
