HH, It's fear... fear of being wrong that drives people like FuryCoat to go full circle on a share. One minute a long term holder, next minute it's got 20 - 30% more to go down. Fear made him sell, fear is making him talk the share down now... but it won't matter, even if every single person on this board sold their BT stocks tomorrow. It will barely move the share price, we're minnows... and there aint enough people here to do a thing to the share price. If BT was an AIM company, then those negative on the stock would stand a better chance of at least moving the company a bit. But the money trades on a daily basis on BT is too much for us minnows to affect in the slightest.

We need to come up with policies to train out own people to be the Dr's, the Nurses etc. I'm sick of rampant immigration, in 1997 Tony Blair abolished the opt out of the Free Movement of Labor that John Major had negotiated int he Maastricht Treaty, from then onwards the rate of house price rises was ridiculous. If you were a home owner or landlord, you were in the money. But now it's a lot harder for people to get on the property ladder due to rampant and relentless immigration. One of the reasons we have a shortage of DR's and nurses is due to our ever growing population, and the demand put on the NHS... a hell of a lot of which due to rampant and relentless immigration. I hope our government does say we are closed to the world by adopting a very strict points system, far stricter than it is now. I can honestly say I'd rather be poor than watch my culture go down the drain... but poor we won't be it's all nonsense to persuade people that Brexit and immigration controls are wrong. And yeah it could be argued that it's going off topic. But I don't actually think it is... BT is moving Customer Service jobs back to the UK for a reason. Most of BT's customers are sick of dealing with foreigners when they call about a technical or bill problem. I know I am when I call Virgin Media.

Heavy, Totally agree, we outsource too many of our jobs to other countries. We sell too many of our companies to other countries... and we import the people of other countries into the UK at unacceptable levels. He was a shorter of the FTSE and Dow too from memory, OUCH. Hargreaves took the biggest beating on Glencore though... they held that short way too long.

1st Tranche @ 203.5p (Bought 16/02/2018) If it drops more, I'll add at 159, 105 and 75p if those prices are seen. Sensible amount allocated to all tranches. Target 350 to 400p subject to fundamentals. When? Haven't a clue.

Ok then if you don't use Technical Analysis to determine entry and exit points for a stock. I presume given the arrogance of your comments you must be very knowledgeable on valuing stocks based purely on fundamentals? I've yet to see a robust comment from you, all I've seen is trolling... I've seen no valuation calculations showing the price per share you think BT is worth, and why you currently think the stock is overvalued. All I've seen is you attempting to lord over others with your deluded superiority complex. It's one thing to tell everyone else they're wrong in a disrespectful manner. It's quite another to give a logical, reasoned and respectful reply as to what you think BT is actually worth and why you're waiting for a lower price, with a solid breakdown of calculations to say why. If you don't do that most people will just assume you're a troll taking your lack of maturity out on others, and you don't have a clue either.

Think I'll do some reading on fundamental investing, for a bit more hands off. Haven't a clue about it, but SimplyWall.st has Glens discount to future cash flow at more than 40%, with an about right price of �6.53 right now. Obviously that can change depending on financial reports. And it could take ages to get there.

Yep, just going to tuck it away in the ISA & Sipps. Not trading it, it can go up and down to it's hearts content. I'll hold for �6.00.. going to start buying and holding for the ISA's and sipps, with a small amount of trading. Need more free time, even setting alerts, I still need to hunt for targets a lot, don't have the time.
