I wish I had seen that tweet.. Why couldn't they wait till the big Sept event to get a placing done. Dont tell me that they do not have funds even to put up a small stand at the Expo or to survive another month. The company's valuation has almost halved in 10 days. Pathetic.

I too got stung badly but blame myself for ignoring the indicators and leak..I do believe in the potential of the product if it is what is being touted. Early Sept will tell unless they announce some deal along with the placing.

primesymian, there have been lot of chats on this topic on the other discussion board (some very knowledgeable posters there). I think the consensus was that if there were to be a placing, then i) it would be close to market price ii) in sticky hands and iii) welcomed because it would be for financing growth in business. Mind you, generally price remains dull for a few weeks after any placing till it is digested. Forthcoming results wilI be illuminating on cashburn. Indeed that is why I am more confident of £3 by end 2019 than £2 by end 2018!. BTW I intend to retain my holding as far as I can see. All the best. DYOR

yes, once the results are out and dusted (good, bad or better), it should start motoring as future prospects start alluring investors...today's at 0.56 were mostly buys, including a relatively large one which was mine. Perhaps there is a large seller in the background. I dont know. Whatever, I am prepared for any dips including the unlikelihood of a placing; convinced of potential as LTH. DYOR.

Thanks dropside for confirming our conjecture about a big seller..I also agree with yr earlier comments. Cannot see a copper producer (& not a pie in the sky type) in one of the best jurisdictions in Africa (Botswana) being held down for long in the current bullish scenario for the metal. Granted there are some technical and financing issues but they are not unsurmountable. So it depends on how good the management/BOD is. I added some more today lowering my average, though still under water like many perhaps. All the best.
