I watched an interview with a owner of a large tech firm in the US every year they take on interns, about nine months after his meet and great he meets a young lady waiting for the elevator. " High its ***** we met at the first day seminar she says " oh high how are you finding things " he replies " Oh sadly im considering leaving " is her reply
He is a bit taken aback and curious so he asks " Is everything ok ? no specific problem ?"
No she says " its just i feel like im not making an impact " !! lol
The interview goes on and he explains his first two years with his first employer he was in the mail room, was the coffee guy, was the run to the post office,bank,florist bla bla bla guy .......
He said these kids are starting life, they are not even in the foothills of the mountain let alone climbing and yet they expect with no effort,no hard yards and no dirty hands to be planting a flag on the summit after ten months !!!! lol
Met a few of those myself.... again im old, and my older generation was the thought the same obout us ..my dad thought you were unmanly if you didnt work 70 hours a week and drink ten pints on saturday :) but learn a little patience young uns, get rich quick is as rare as leftie who never throws a sick day !! Get rich slooooow is dull and frustrating but ususaly sucessful as long as your definition of rich isnt Jeff Bezos !

my two pence worth .... Marcus Rashford was scouted and "supported" by man u from about 7 years old !!
