I reckon the AA will be taken over by an insurance company! its a perfect fit. AA membership means better maintained vehicles which reduces claims, Insurance is not discretionary but rolling AA membership into insurance packages would be a good selling point and then there is the brand iconic historic etc. Insurance company take over of AA seems to me a very good move especially if the shorters keep pushing down the mcap of a solid company!!! All speculation obviously just an opinion. gla

just jumped in with a couple of thousand because i see either a five bagger in the next month or a wipe out! just my view but im also hearing noises about business rates being abolished and replaced with a uk transaction sales tax ??? The logic being that rates are not dependent on takings and avoidance of tax ( on profits) by legal but annoying methods such as domiciling your company elsewhere for tax purposes. Hey just noise but i think rates will be abolished totally and a uk generated sales tax placed on all transactions carried out in the uk regardless of where you " park " your profits or indeed whether you make any or not is a solid revival plan. Google Starbucks et all will at least be forced to generate revenue for the exchequer this way even if they have the best accountants in the world.!! Not based on profit but on transactions! 20% on a coffee , a google advert and even a Microsoft download from wherever the server is sounds good plan to me. bol

I’m eighty % cash holding atm ! This dead cat bounce allowed me a 15 % gain across the board which didn’t Make up for earlier losses but almost did ! And If I’m honest I cashed out two days early but catching rising knives always tricky ! As for recession !!! I called it a Depression ! And that’s an understatement ! Thus will be brutal and I’m staying cash rich with a reverse etf short trade fund holding on the ftse ! People still often forget that the US is one if the most self sufficient country’s on the planet ! They can and do make grow mine everything they need fir the most part ! But without American consumption the world China India Russia will be routed !! Shoot if the US decides to default on debt and devalue the dollar what then !?
