I'm invested, have been for a while trying to resist the temptation to take profits as fundamentally STAN is still great value. It is more sensitive to news about China because it is basically an Asian bank with an HQ in London.

US/China tariff deal

Was hoping for a bit more out of the scrips, but still in for the dividend in what is a very well run company. For all its talk about reducing red tape and regulation, this government seems to be doing the opposite with the insurance sector.

Taken the top off today (I think 250p isn't far away but it often pays to do a little trading in this stock), but still one of my core holdings.

Another nice boost today, STAN hasn't seen £8 since 2018. If it can break through this then things are looking good.

I've added to my holding in today's dip. Great set of results for a well managed company with a great dividend yield.

Hoping for 550p in the not too distant.

According to their latest review they are positioned for a strengthening yen & increased volatility, so this could be their time. They are also trading at a discount to NAV which has persisted for the last few years, if this closed it would provide a nice extra boost.
