zulu-one, you're doing good research work. Thanks. Personally, I'm so far underwater here I'll get the bends if we ever come up.
Chesy, I had imagined that the phone would have been cut off by now!
What a flammin' joke this become. Do we ever hear a word again from Block Commodities? Disgusting really.
Hi BeverleyBeaver,
I couldn't get that link to work (unsure about others) but this one seems to:
https://aquis-public-files.s3.eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/aqse/pdfs/other/Disciplinary+Notice+2020-08-20+Final.pdf
Interesting how Aquis are on to their breaches while Aim seemed to let all sorts go. Seemingly a company of rogues sadly. Guess there will be a whip round to pay the £7,000 fine!
Just received this information from AQUIS:
Suspension of Trading (Suspend / Restore)
Block Commodities Ltd
Block Commodities plc. The following company has been suspended from trading on AQSE Growth Market with effect from 07.00am, 01/09/2020, pending the appointment of an AQSE Corporate Adviser. Not sure why BLCC have been suspended. What a dreadful company led by dreadful people. I tried emailing the company via the website, but this contact method doesn't work.

Cleverly just seems to jump around from new scheme to new scheme without ever achieving anything.
The company issues an update on 30th Nov. 2018 to tell us that the annual report publication has been delayed and will now be issued by the end of the year, and then just let the year pass with nothing. Terribly amateurish, no matter what we may hear in the future.
From their November 30th 'update':
To streamline workflows and reduce costs in relation to the TEN
Transaction, the Company has taken the decision to delay the publication of
its Annual Report for the year ended 30 June 2018. As a result, the
Company's Annual Report for the year ended 30 June 2018 will be published no
later than 31 December 2018.
Does anybody know? With the company's shares in suspension, are they still required to release an annual report this month?
A bit of an idea of how it hopes to work http://www.fincomeco.com/what-we-do/
It surprises me that a company with a 0.7m market cap can raise 400,000.
Shouldn't they be updating the market regarding the money that they owe to the wife of the chief financial officer?
seepeeyar I agree with you also. Looking at the company website, it has not even been updated with the 06 February 2017 Issue of Equity announcement. Does it not need to be by legal requirement? I read also on the company website [quote] "African Potash has an active investor relations policy and aims to provide quality, timely and effective communication to its investors". It all seems nonsense. What does still confuse me is the possible reasons behind Mrs Clayton loaning the company further money, and how the company were able to raise more money earlier this month? I do wonder who the people were that invested, and what were they told? Another matter of interest is that none of the directors have yet resigned. I would have imagined that some of those directors would have distanced themselves by now. All in all a very sad situation.
What would be the reason that she would loan African Potash plc further money? Also, the amount loaned is, respective to operating costs, not going to last more than a couple of months at the most.
All the best to traveller5840. I hope that your trip to Guernsey allows you the opportunity to get at least some answers. It will be interesting to hear which members of the African Potash board attend the meeting. Have a safe trip.
If I am correct in understanding that Peterhouse Corporate Finance would have conducted due diligence on African Potash to support their ISDX admission, then it is possible that a new NOMAD would also satisfy themselves when conducting due diligence into African Potash?
traveller5840 Well done on attending the meeting on the 20th December. I hope that you are very forthright with them.
