Apologises for this question as I am bit of a noob when it comes to these things.
Going Private - what does that mean for the SP? I understand the concept of it, but what would be more beneficial for the SP - Going private or a outside buyer? Obviously, the the higher bidder wins, but does that mean if going private they would need to match an external offer?
Looking at the share price and just generally this has been dealt with, unfortunately I can't see anything other than this offer being accepted. Doesn't look good
@Arborman - Just more me being pessimistic. Indications of interest still isn't concrete which worries me. Maybe me just taking it with a pinch of salt.
@BIGBangs - Agreed. RNS all the way - still holding as I hope something comes through
Because it is only based on 1 broker. Means close to nothing based on the sample size
Let's hope not!
Very difficult to see the real value of the company IMO. Obviously on this forum, many have invested a lot of money and hence are of the opinion the company is worth more.
Seems like the company are desperate and will take it unless something else comes in soon. I guess the slight positive is that there is now finally some interest.
Ahh got you. So basically if this deal goes through, then the max SP will be 5.5 and SXX will just get dissolved?
Thanks for the reply!
Hi all,
First ever post so sorry for my naivety. I got in at 3p, so for me I have made a little bit of money but I understand people have invested way more and at a higher price. But with this takeover isn't this a positive thing which should eventually raise the SP further with the additional funds available?
Again sorry if this is a silly question, just new to the markets and would be keen to hear why this isn't good news just for my understanding.
Thanks
