Savvy..good stuff...always look forward to your comments... a few pi's have had financial issues and downsized or I suppose left. I was retired but went back to work to pay for shares here. The money I have in here is now money I can afford to lose, however, too many really smart people in Syme/TF for this to not do well. It's a long wait for sure.
Thank you Dr Calvin, I look forward to seeing the RNS. Hopefully the discussions with two companies towards acquisitions is proving fruitful, and I think you mentioned about an acquisition of an AI company too. maybe the letter of intent is on its way.
I never understand this question of whether or not Syme is a "fraud". Of course it's not. At 70 I may be naive but having had correspondence with Tom James a few times and looking at his history/publications/ business acumen, there is clearly no way he would have joined a dodgy company. It's just absurd to say that 'you don't know if it's a fraud'.
ScarletVixen...VELA was just such a case...Phase 2 trial was a great success..we anticipated the positive outcome and the release date of results..results were that the drug saved lives...sp tanked. Bizarre.
Bogeyman.."I have absolutely no clue why you and others continue to laud him. It really is bizarre…" and there's you an eminent scientist, not invested in a hopeless penny share which is on the slide in a far flung cobweb ridden corner of the janitors basement cupboard but here you are day in day out, all day long on its bb...sure you can see the irony...now that is bizarre.
https://www.seatrade-maritime.com/dry-cargo/podcast-commodity-markets-outlook-tradeflow-ceo-tom-james why is their nothing on Supply@ME's website? Their site needs a bomb behind it....even I could design a more dynamic up to date site!
Supply@ME is not an AIM listed company of course, it's a main market company.
Dr Calvin, thank you for your informative response.
Dr Calvin/Dr Krebbs...thank you for the insightful information that you have supplied on this bb for some time. It would be most helpful to all lth's here I believe if you were able to elaborate a little more about your connection to this company, as it appears you have more than an awareness on the inside track than the average punter here?
Oh that was close Bogeymen...I actually went for that hook...started looking at Italian government and bank lending criteria in these covid ridden times..for a second you had me..nice try though..came to my senses before I committed too much of my life to pursuing your red herrings..you naughty eminent scientist you...you taking the weekend off brushing up your presentation skills for your 1.5billion medical research company? Nobel prize in the post I'm sure.
Bogeymen...you must admit, taking what you say as gospel of course, in your quiet moments of contemplation, that a clearly eminent scientist such as your good self, developing medicines to help the great unwashed in a company worth 1.5billion, a guy presenting to auspicious audiences alongside CEO's...high flying stuff indeed, however, despite this eminence you have the time to spend all day researching and commenting on a penny share's bb in an obscure corner of the LSE in a share you say you aren't invested in...must admit it looks just a tad enigmatic, eh?
Oldhack...we are nowhere near the end of the journey yet...the disruptors, who have other motives here, may be correct in their negativity to date, but this is a young company it has years ahead to do well, and it will survive this childhood and mature. Everyone is entitled to their view and if you believe people on here who aren't invested and who have other agendas fine. Nobody should encourage or discourage anyone else with what they do with their money. I'm here long term and have faith in the people at Syme and TF.
Acknowledging all the above, the IPEM is a huge networking opportunity if you look at the delegates and speakers going and presenting. I bet Livento will be there. It will be everybody who is anybody.
It has to be acknowledged that there are some very bright hard working, even quite exceptional minds working in this company and dedicated to bringing this to a success. It's their life. I think all this derogatory talk is really an expression of the frustration we all feel about our investments and the lack of any news. I know it will frustrate many, but we have to remain patient. I bought nearly 500k again this morning because I believe it's got the potential to do really well. Put the money in then walk away from it for a while, don't keep monitoring the sp every hour.
When you think about it this can only go either t*** up or be an incredible success. Too many good calibre people working hard to make it a success for the former, so has to be, eventually, a change northbound...we're at Watford Gap in an Italian sports car with our foot hovering on the throttle....
“Rivers know this: There is no hurry. We shall get there some day.” Just bought 1,588,258 at this price...why not? If I lose the money I lose it. Here, I have the opportunity. It is a risk, but so is life, I could drop dead of a heart attack tomorrow, so today I buy shares. Still enough in the bank for heating and food!
From my perspective, take it or leave it, I would love the sp to be heading north in a positive, progressive development which reflects the progress of the company. Each day that passes, in my opinion, sees us nearer that. I was disappointed when Coyle left and i was very disappointed when the first IM did not send the sp north and I was particularly disappointed on April 1st 2021 at the drop, but, I have over time added, what to me is a considerable amount, as an investment in a young company with interesting, intelligent, hard working people, who have an exciting vision, and one that just could do very well and become a giant. Ok it is acknowledged that it's not there at the moment, and may never be, but I think the heart of my attitude towards my money being invested is that if I lose it, I accept that I lost it through making my adult decisions. I am not depriving my family of food or heating. AZ and all the others, are not the types to give up, they will try their hardest to make this work. And I have faith in them and the concept. The money would otherwise sit in my extraordinarily low interest bank account and make money for the bank, so I am happy to invest it here and to be patient waiting for the day that something good is announced, however long it takes, and off we go.
All these professionals working away at Syme/TF are working hard to make this a success. It's the beginning of a journey. It just takes time. It's new. Everyone has to learn the model and that takes time. Patience. I look every day at the SP and long for it to be going up, but I'm here for years, not looking for a quick small profit. I am a long term investor in this start up company and I have to be patient.
