ad2017 - Yeah and think of all the money they paid themselves and the amount of amazing value they distrubuted back to the stock. Er.....
Like most. Giving them to the end of the month to come up with the CF news. If a no show I'm going to start dumping this.
Mikey - Not if you buy via nominee account it isn't. Laugh it up fuzzballs.
If this does what it's supposed to then that's a cool 600-800k to me.
Tyfoon - I have an average of 1.75 at around £150k worth. So no, I'm not short, I've never shorted a stock.
What I do, however, look for are the early signs of 'bad behaviour' by boards and have been balled out before on boards, only months later for people to be bleeting on about 'If only we'd had seen the sign earlier'.
As far as I'm concerned , I'm willing to forgive the lateness of the CF announcement as legal things can often delay but pushing out a dodgy website update on a Friday afternoon without an RNS is an initial strike in my book.
Lets hope they redeem themselves with an RNS tomorrow.
As for the AGM. See you there.
Yeah, because I made the SP drop by 20%.
Maybe there's something in bringing out a nice market facing and explanatory AGM RNS afterall.
It's a common courtesy that is followed by many companies for a reason.
andy - I wholley agree but for the fact he has 7000 followers (not sure why). I think the guys is well out of order.
He did however seem to have inside knowledge about 'a raise' early doors Friday and started to band about a 2p figure. Low and behold, the company release (via the website) an AGM notice with raise resolution in it. The problem is , he has a lot of people who follow him and support his shenanigans.
This is clearly being taken down to Doc Holiday's 2p raise price that he was banding about on Twitter on Friday.
Take it you haven't read the RNS, oops, website AGM note then Freddie.
You are right. Markets move on sentiment and had they brough out the CF news by now , no one would have battered and eye at the AGM move. But they haven't and the news is beyond late.
I hate Doc Holliday and his ilk but how come he knew about the potenital raise news on Friday before anyone here?
By not talking control of the commnunications GS and DS are handing the initiative to the likes of the Twitter deramping crews and allowing uncertainty in through the front door.
AGM aside, I think people have given them until today to come good on their word and it's understandable that a few are now leaving and reducing.
The reason why I said 'the wrong side of the city' - Try getting in from the North (or anywhere to the main stations) outside of London and getting across town for 08.00 on a Monday morning. I live in London and even getting to Canary Wharf for 08.00 am is a pain in the a55. PKG is a 15 min walk from the station.
Here's a thought, hire a room in the city for £500 and hold it at 11.00am.
A bit like last year when there was only 3-4 there.
So I take all you guys are going then?
ad2017 - Most companies have there's around 09.30-11.00am.
Mookster - Who is going to be at the AGM at 08.00am on a Monday morning the wrong side of the city? And why have they brought the AGM a month earlier than last year?
It's a question of courtesy and consideration for the market. The 2nd December 'news soon' announcement has put people on edge enough and then not RNSing an AGM (and all the things inbetween) is just testing people's trust.
Mooster - Only been doin this 30 years.
What I am like is someone who was promised something weeks ago and it hasn't arrived and then find out via the back door that some meeting is going on and they are going to discuss how much they are going to dilute my holding.
OK then , it's wiped out 2/3 weeks of price progression.
Agree HFC. their lack of courtesy has cost everyone here 10% this morning. Doesn't take a lot does it.
Martin Luther King Jr. Day
Well at 10% down this morning, I'm not the only one with that thought in my head.
How a company treats you in the early days , sets the tone for the future.
The fact that the AGM is going to be held at 08.00am in an accountants office in East London in 3 weeks and is by an awkward invite process only indicates to me they are not expecting anyone to go. Meaning they don't give a **** about what news is released beforehand.
Personally I think it sends out the message that they are not only trying to obsfucate the closeness of the date but also the chunky resolutions.
When not then advertise it on the front page of the website as opposed to burying it.
I'm a fan but if I was sitting on the fence with this stock I wouldn't be impressed.
