Rajbury, in simple terms it's based upon producing 4500 tonnes of NdPr oxide per year from mid 2023 onwards. Using a very conservative $75k/ton price, 50% margin, P/E 15x, 250m shares = £7.32 SP. Once you add in additional RE Sulphate sales to China from Longonjo and Coola, and the recycling recently referred to at Saltend £10 starts to look realistic. Lots still to be done but you can see why there's plenty buying at these levels.
Very interesting Alpha, am I reading correctly that this is China looking to broaden it's RE concentrate supply sources? Not saying this is in reaction to the Myanmar coup but that has highlighted the peril of being over reliant on any one jurisdiction.
Nice tick-up this morning. This is very much a buy-and-hold investment for me, been in since the begining, originally bought some at 12p watched it go down to 6p, held and added thoughout that period, always expected volatility, just waiting for the market to wake up to this disruptive science.
Beardozer, sounds like you know the score. As I’m sure you know in 3 weeks we will be off ASX which opens the door to many more institutional investors. Soon after that we should get the comprehensive business plan, hopefully with details of the finance package. And then within 3 months planning approval for Saltend. No guarantees in this game but this does now look very promising short and long term.
BwanaMakubwa, just to be clear it’s never been stated that they will release the BFS, it’s that they will update the market on the results of the BFS. A subtle difference but an important one in terms of what level of information you should expect.
BwanaMakubwa, I feel like the worst is over with Australian investors selling ahead of delist and traders exploiting the gap. One regular poster on here was telling everyone on Hot Copper forum how his daughter in UK was profiting from that exact trade. The delist undoubtedly hit our SP when it was at an ATH but looking at the bigger picture it should prove to be a good decision by Pensana.

mayorhumdinger, we were told by Paul to expect the BFS to be completed and an update to shareholders by end of Jan, ie tomorrow latest. There seems to be widespread doubt that that will not now happen, some saying that it will be held back until ASX delistsing has completed, I think this is a reasonable theory and that possiblity has contributed to the recent drop, along with delisting sellers and wider market downturn IMO. On the other hand the company haven't signalled the delay so I'm not going to totally rule out an update tomorrow. I've bought today because a positive update could move the SP up sharply and I'd hate to have missed that opportunity, on the other hand it's likely we will go lower tomorrow with no update.
