A proxy £100 million peanuts contract - who cares?
I won't be selling below £1 a share. But feel free to post some more drivel.
I meant short is a figment of your imagination.
But now I think about it, your shirt too.
Aim, the beast has you!!! I truly hope your shirt is a figment of your imagination
That's wishful thinking on your part Night watch, let's be honest. You said in August that you sold out before 50p - probably in the expectation of a drop back into the 30's which never materialised. Now you are stuck on the outside looking in. I should know - I've done it myself on other shares lol
Steady now - did someone chuck Worzel on the bonfire again?
Interesting - clearly trying to drive it down again
Tis a good average, pig, beats mine of 38p! SP of 55p is well overdue, yet the sudden charge on Monday & Tuesday came, literally, from nowhere. I thought we were heading for 60p by week end, yet suddenly we were back to 50p. It will be interesting to see what next week brings...
I've bought back (this afternoon) the shares I autosold on Monday, with a slight profit of an extra 117 shares without adding extra money, lol.
It's holding 51p nicely. Generally a bit like those magnificent men in their flying machines at the moment:-
up tiddly up up,
down tiddly down down.
Hi Directive - too true. I stuck that order in a while back hoping to sell at a peak and buy back more on the next dip. Same thing happened to me with Arriva last year - you think I'd ruddy learn, lol. At least it's only a third
Hi GMAN - I got caught with a 51p autosell yesterday afternoon, lol. I got a sales notification in my email and I was like "wtf?". Luckily it's only a third of my holding
Sold just over a third of my holdings at 51p - these were only ever meant to be a short term additional hold back in March.
Only sold these as the patio still needs finishing - will hold the rest till £1. To be fair, I will buy back in at 48p if the chance arises. I'll just claim my back has gone.
Again ??
Come on Capita, If this was a car, I'd get out and push.
Or get the wife to do it.
Looks like it's knocking on the door of 51p again
Incompetent hands...er...how exactly? Management have reported a return to profit, are only taking contracts with decent profit margins, have reduced overheads, etc. The only problem is market sentiment - which is why you are shorting it.
Bet they wish they'd shorted easyJet instead
I didn't know there was one Cash, till you said that, lol. Now I know, I've checked it and it says it's 'unavailable'.
Hi JG - yeah, the teachers pension scheme, like the Civil Service pension scheme was one of those dubious outsourcing decisions of the nineties. As I said on a previous post, governments apparently believed you could get the same service for less money (despite paying in house staff a pittance). I think Capita can do without that kind of crud. "The department is looking for a TPS administration that "will be accepted as the best administered UK public service pension scheme."Be interesting to see if anyone else will pick up that baby!
Ah...got it ;).
I use iweb; it's basically the Halifax without the research resources - £5 a trade does me fine.
