Stolen from Twitter, there seems to be confusion about the wording “never intended for home use” in the RNS, this is specifically talking about the PHE review order, not the MHRA approvals we are waiting for, they are two separate things.

The PHE review was for professional use, which allowed the Gov to order 1m tests

The AbC-19 have applied for MHRA approval so it can be for home use, hence Ulster Uni study where individuals had to self try it.

When MHRA approval lands, gives green light for home use
